A.D. Green: A Story of Redemption and Giving Back

A.D. Green, a talented artist and entrepreneur from Houston, Texas, has risen from the challenges of his past to become a beacon of hope and inspiration for others. Having once been involved in the streets and faced legal troubles, A.D. has turned his life around and is now committed to using his experiences to uplift others and provide support to those in need.

In 1999, A.D. Green’s raw talent caught the attention of legendary DJ and Swishahouse CEO Michael “5000” Watts. Joining Swishahouse, A.D. embarked on a successful music career, recording mixtapes and albums with renowned artists such as Slim Thug, Lil Mario, J Dawg, Chamillionaire, Paul Wall, and Big Tyke, among others. Despite his rising fame, A.D.’s attachment to the streets led to multiple arrests and legal challenges. In 2009, however, A.D.’s conviction was overturned on appeal, and his sentence was later reduced to 20 years.

Fast forward to March 2020, A.D. Green has turned his life around and is now a successful entrepreneur, podcast host, mentor, and more. He has launched various business ventures, including “The Last Walk Podcast,” which shares the stories of ex-convicts and their families, providing insight into life behind the wall and the experiences of those affected by incarceration.

As the proud owner of H-Town Event Center in Houston, Texas, A.D. Green is determined to give back to his community and make a difference in the lives of others. His non-profit organization, Another Chance Foundation, focuses on providing resources and mentorship to individuals who have been incarcerated, helping them reintegrate into society and build better lives for themselves.

A.D. Green’s story of redemption serves as a powerful reminder that people can overcome their past and use their experiences to create positive change. As he states, “I feel the ones behind the wall have been forgotten about and can be redeemed to come out as better people if given the proper resources and mentorship. I want to give back by spreading awareness to the masses by telling my story of redemption, as well as others.”
