Mehran Rowshan Continues His Passion for Football by Holistically Training Young Athletes

Mehran Rowshan’s football career may have ended dramatically at a very young age due to a severe knee injury, but he has proven that his passion for the game need not cease as well. His deep love for football propelled him to become a professional coach at the very young age of 22, and the transition proved to be quite as rewarding as playing the game. As he poured out his life to coaching and mentoring young athletes, football became an integral part of his life.

The love for football runs in Mehran’s veins as his grandfather was one of the founding members of Taj, one of Asia’s biggest football clubs until today. His Uncle Hassan Rowshan is considered a national sporting hero after contributing greatly in bringing his team to the Asian Cup three times in the ’70s. Additionally, Hassan is the only player who has scored for Iran in the Asian Cup, World Cup, and the Olympics. Determined to continue the legacy that his grandfather and uncle created for Tehran and Iran as a whole, Mehran dedicated his life to helping young people love the game and train them using a more scientific approach.

Mehran Rowshan holds a degree in Economics and Management. His training and career as a football coach have brought him to many beautiful destinations, including England, Spain, Portugal, and Holland. In 2009, as a multiple F.A.-qualified coach, he became one of Arsenal Soccer School Dubai’s founding coaches.

His forward-thinking nature, love for football, and deep desire to develop the life skills of young athletes motivated him to establish Alliance Football Club in 2015. Over time, the organization has become one of the city’s most recognized sporting establishments and communities. As director and head coach of Alliance, Mehran has the freedom to inject unique training methods and initiatives designed to develop the agility of athletes, their character, and their decision-making skills as well.

“The world of life coaching currently does not offer something specifically designed for young people—there is a focus on therapy from the point of view to ‘fix a problem’ but nothing from the perspective of building a positive mindset through brain training and other relevant techniques, especially among amateur athletes,” Mehran Rowshan explains. “I want to adopt progressive and pioneering coaching techniques to help the next generation to build resiliency and new ways of becoming fulfilled. My unyielding and immersive outlook on work and lifestyle go hand in hand,” he adds.

Apart from coaching football, Mehran is also a qualified advocate and adviser of several key areas, including life coaching, mentorship, psychology, nutrition, and the remarkable ability to expose players to helpful opportunities to explore life skills while elevating the way they play the game at the same time. Mehran’s far-reaching training enables him to handle football psychology and match analysis in such a way that it resulted in the creation of 300 unique football drills. His unmatched experience has also allowed him to coach over 10,000 players to date.

Mehran Rowshan designed Alliance to become a regional hub one day, where people come together to experience education and the acquisition of life skills at the same time. Alliance’s culture builds relationships, develops autonomy, builds character and life skills, creates a positive learning environment, and promotes positivity and inclusion. It is also known as an eco-friendly club that uses the Alliance canvas bag and bottle to teach players to be earth-loving.

The impact that Mehran has made on football is nothing but phenomenal. He continues to be an inspiration to many who aspire to make a career out of playing football.Find out more about Mehran Rowshan and Alliance Football Club by visiting this site.
