Real entrepreneurship requires grit, hard work, resilience, determination and an unmatched quest for success. Taking on multiple ventures and activities requires the same, and Marlo Richardson is taking it all in stride while making an impact in her immediate community. As a seasoned entrepreneur with a trail of business ventures in her wake, she has created platforms that encourage and empower women in business.
Launching Stage 21 Bar and Lounge was mostly influenced by her experience owning and operating two restaurants. Marlo Richardson is well-versed in the hospitality business and hopes to put her expertise to good use by opening more businesses in the industry to satisfy the ever-increasing clientele. Outside the hospitality industry, Marlo has owned a home healthcare franchise, production company and a real estate investment company. She also hosts an award-winning radio show on DASH Radio and has executive-produced two theatrical films. In addition to all her sojourn in the business world, she is a cryptocurrency and stock market enthusiast passionate about teaching and mentoring new investors through her podcast.
Before Stage 21 Bar and Lounge came to life, it was the Tattletale Room owned by Roger Lowell. The 57-year old establishment was closed during the pandemic, and one year later, Marlo Richardson decided to purchase it and repurpose it into a bar and lounge. She has renovated it to her taste and is ready to deliver the best of entertainment and relaxation to Culver City, California.
Marlo Richardson’s forte extends beyond being an entrepreneur. Her leadership qualities have always shone through as she has gotten herself into multiple domains ranging from law to entertainment. For more than two decades, she worked in management, public relations, public policy and municipal organizations. All the experience she has garnered across board has come in handy, and as she grows as an entrepreneur, she is growing businesses, influencing people and building her community simultaneously.
With degrees in Communications, Public Administration, Public Policy and having studied Law, she has strong professional and political standing in California. Governor Jerry Brown appointed her as a State of California Board Member while the Los Angeles County, the State Bar of California and numerous non-profit organizations have all appointed her to various positions over the years.
Her strong sense of leadership and activeness that have earned her a place in business, public service and various organizations helped her recognize the need for a quality service bar and relaxation lounge. “Everything I do, I do for the people. I want to create businesses that truly serve the people and use my skills and influence to help others reach their personal success goals,” she said. Stage 21 Bar and Lounge aims to entertain men and women who enjoy sports and entertainment. “At Stage 21 Bar and Lounge, we have quality drinks and now serve small bites,” Marlo adds.Learn more about Marlo Richardson’s new venture, Stage 21 Bar and Lounge, on the official websiteInstagram page or Facebook
