Born Sebastian Thomas in Columbia SC, Seabash didn’t fall in love with music until he was a sophomore at the prestigious Clemson University. Seabash never saw himself taking music seriously but when his peers heard some of his earliest works, they urged him to continue with what he was doing. To make money to afford his music career, Seabash began taking photos and videos for other artists. This got him the name “BashBenzo” which is actually the handle of his photography page. Late in his sophomore year, Seabash experienced the tragic loss of his best friend Victoria. Seabash decided the best way to honor her was to make a song and send it to the family. The song goes by the name Victoria. Seabash’s music borders on his love life and the reality of it. He uses many of his own personal experiences and uses them to either inspire or make people aware of how he feels about a situation. “I don’t think it makes sense to make music no one can relate to, it’s how you build genuine supporters.”
