Andrea Cordero: Turning Setbacks Into Gorgeous Works of Art

Going through tragedy and experiencing a significant loss is enough to discourage people from pursuing their dreams and goals. All-around artist Andrea Cordero experienced not one but two disasters in the course of her career. But the strong-willed personality refuses to abandon her lifelong dream and continues to soldier on.

In 2018, a massive flood destroyed her studio, including all of her artwork. Then, after two years of slowly rebuilding, the pandemic struck, and once again, the artist lost everything. However, the artist, more commonly known as Addi, is still here and standing firm.

These harsh blows to her career are not the only unfortunate experiences she has experienced and endured. A few years back, the young woman survived an assault and robbery at gunpoint, and this life-threatening incident has caused her to develop PTSD.

Nevertheless, she continues to rise above these challenges and setbacks. Through art, she has successfully made a name for herself and attained many accomplishments. Aside from that, the resilient character is the very first one from her family to attend and graduate college. She will be pursuing her master’s degree and a doctorate in England.

Andrea Cordero is also an active supporter of the community. She looks after the career of her fellow artists by going out of her way to voluntarily create merchandise and branding for struggling creatives to help them look more professional. She also uniquely champions advocacies that are close to her heart, such as spreading awareness about PTSD, the Black Lives Matter movement, and providing aid to struggling cities by incorporating art into the causes.

Having gone a long way from her Myspace days, the social media influencer has experimented with numerous art forms and mediums. As of late, the Latina is exploring her Mexican roots and heritage by creating Calavera portraits. She is even breaking stereotypes by taking inspiration from her “modern muses” of mostly men.

Over time, she has seen immense progress and success in the careers of the various people and organizations she helped. Now, the promising creative plans to shift her focus back to her journey. She has big dreams of bringing her work to the forefront of the art industry. Just recently, she launched AddiRockART. The website showcases a combination of the artist’s masterpieces as well as the other services she offers.

In the future, she plans to become a full-fledged creative and hopes to see her art being displayed in galleries. She also plans to create a one-of-a-kind brand with its own merchandise and collaborate with other brands. Finally, she expresses her continuous commitment to help the charities, organizations and causes that she believes in.

Although AddiRockART is somewhat new and a work in progress, it is shaping up to be the visionary’s most extensive and most profound project. Andrea Cordero is preparing the platform to become her primary brand, so fans and interested individuals should be on the lookout for updates on the site.
