With its ultimate mission to help students bring their business ideas to life, Beta Bowl programs guide teenagers through each step in successfully starting a business. This virtual entrepreneurship program takes care of everything from coming up with a business plan down to creating an investor pitch deck.
Beta Bowl is the leading virtual entrepreneurship program designed for aspiring entrepreneurs and teenagers with big business dreams. The digital program is home to many students from all over the United States and several international students. It runs different types of program packages all year round with flexible schedules to accommodate students during summer and throughout the academic year.
Students do not need to have any business idea, experience, or background to qualify for the program as it is open to anyone who wishes to venture into the world of entrepreneurship. To keep the students engaged, Beta Bowl uses interactive activities for the programs on top of video-recorded lessons, business building tasks, one-on-one mentorship calls, and other resources depending on the package chosen. 24-hour support from the Beta Bowl team and students’ individual startup mentor is also available through email and text messages.
The programs help students create a robust portfolio of business assets and a business plan. They learn about, implement, and create diverse marketing techniques and strategies, a real-world financial model, a professional investor pitch deck, and a ready-to-launch business. To complete the experience, Beta Bowl provides completion certificates at the end of both 6-week and 12-week programs on top of a recommendation letter customized and tailored for each student.
Throughout its rise in the entrepreneurship program industry, Beta Bowl has been vetted by almost 200 business students from top American business schools, including prestigious universities: UNC (NC), USC (CA), and Elon (NC). Many college preparatory companies, college admission consultants, and guidance counselors have also promoted and endorsed Beta Bowl’s programs.
One of the most outstanding and impressive stories from this program is that of its former student, Alana Weisberg, who used her Beta Bowl experience to spearhead her nonprofit Bookworm Global.
Alana was a student in Beta Bowl’s 6-week summer entrepreneurship program. Initially, she had planned on making beauty and cosmetic products more accessible during the pandemic. This business allowed immunocompromised beauty enthusiasts to maintain their self-care and makeup routines in the comforts of their homes.
Prior to launching her beauty business, Alana found herself drawn to a more compelling cause related to the educational issues that many students are facing during this pandemic. She was determined to make a difference and address the rising problem of lack of access to educational materials. Since then, she has used the knowledge and strategies she learned from the entrepreneurship program to acquire thousands of books for students.
Today, she has donated more than 2,500 books to underprivileged youth. Indeed, Alana is a perfect example of a Beta Bowl entrepreneurial student who is not only becoming a young business leader but also making a significant impact on the community and the world today.
For the past two months, over 300 high school students completed the programs. The custom recommendation letters from Beta Bowl have helped these students move from waitlist to acceptance at schools such as Caltech and Babson. The program has also helped students get admitted to selective summer programs such as Stanford’s Summer Session and Drexel’s LeBow Camp Business. On top of that, scholarships such as the CS+ Business Honors Program are at closer reach, and getting into their top choice schools becomes easier.
Beta Bowl has also partnered with a top college admissions consulting company, and their consultants have worked with the students for one-on-one strategy calls to help students kickstart their game plan. Indeed, this top entrepreneurship program serves as a significant “resume and college application differentiator” for those who have completed the programs.
Today, Beta Bowl continues to help high school students and teenagers see their potential by sharpening their business skills and equipping them with the right tools that will ensure ultimate success not only in their future businesses but also in their current educational journey.
