The world seems to have this old school mindset that tells people that success can be found if they strive towards goals and work for decades. While that seems like something normal, most people don’t hand out the actual tools to help them achieve this. Alexandra Rene learned this as she started her career.
Alexandra started her career in corporate America sales, where she discovered that her skills were less than perfect. She struggled at the job, and her manager threatened to fire her because of her less than stellar performance. For a whole month, she spent a lot of time crying in the bathroom, putting herself down, thinking she couldn’t do it and how she didn’t know how to do anything valuable.
She and her coworkers, and even most of the upper-level management, at the time, shared the same fixed mindset. Still, Alexandra saw that the future she was striving for was stuck in the old ways where “natural ability” and “schmoozing” ran rampant. It was then that she realized it was never something she wanted to be.
While Alexandra took sales courses in college, she never learned to sell. Corporate sales training and popular sales books were great for learning sales ideologies, but they never gave her things that could actually be applied out there in the real world.
She went on to start Team Momentum. This company had the vision to educate, empower, and create opportunities for service-based entrepreneurs so they could create their own wealth and live the life they envisioned for themselves on their own terms. Alexandra lives by the principle that anything can be taught, success can be learned, and the future is most promising for those who want to make a positive impact.
Alexandra found that anyone can learn how to build a business by themselves, but it will take forever to start seeing the results while there are other people out there living the dream and stealing market share. Her coaching and consulting services are a combination of sales strategies, technology, and sustainable business systems. Other coaches and consultants have solutions for one or two of these facets, but certainly not all three.
She has been in the business for over two years and learned that most of the time, people don’t understand what it is that’s holding them back from their business and revenue goals. To counter that, Alexandra has built a system where she takes people to holistically look at their business so they can make changes at the right place to produce the best results.
In her experience as a consultant, she found that her clients have gone to other coaches before that only tried to put them in cookie-cutter programs or set them up with business plans that don’t align with their businesses. While it is common that people take courses on “selling online courses,” most people fail to realize that they need to create customized programs.
Alexandra hopes that people don’t make the same mistake of spending $200k on college education and spending five years in corporate jobs that make them feel miserable. It is her dream to develop young and ambitious entrepreneurs.
