Britney Spears married personal trainer and model Sam Asghari in a small ceremony outside of Los Angeles on Thursday, wearing a fantastic custom Versace gown.
At her wedding in Thousand Oaks, California, the pop princess complemented her look with a dramatic satin-edged veil and white choker.
Following months of speculation over who would design Spears’ gown, the singer allegedly revealed that “Versace is making my dress as we speak” in a since-deleted Instagram post last year. Donatella Versace, the brand’s chief creative officer, revealed her involvement on social media on Friday, disclosing that her label also designed Asghari’s tuxedo.
The Italian designer stated on Instagram that Spears had “a very special place in my heart,” beside a photo of the newlyweds.
In the caption, she wrote, “Designing Britney and Sam’s wedding dresses came naturally to me.” “Every detail was meticulously crafted with a lot of affection. We collaborated with our Atelier to design an elegant and glitzy gown and tuxedo. They’re a match made in heaven!”
Lady Gaga, Madonna, and Selena Gomez were among the high-profile guests at Versace’s party.
The gown featured a plunging neckline, capped, off-the-shoulder sleeves, and a three-meter-long (10-foot) train. The front of the gown was pleated, and the skirt split into a dramatic V-shaped leg slit.

According to a Versace spokeswoman, Spears also donned pearl-encrusted tulle gloves and white satin shoes. According to the fashion house’s tailors, the gown took approximately 700 hours to make.
According to Vogue, Spears wore a tennis necklace, tennis bracelet, and tear-drop earrings with a total weight of 62 carats of diamonds. British makeup artists Charlotte and Sofia Tilbury did her bridal makeup, with the former telling Vogue that she was “thrilled and humbled” to work on Spears’ wedding look.
The evening featured three clothing changes, according to Vogue. Spears later featured Versace-designed outfits, including a tiny red dress, a black mini dress, and a two-toned ensemble.
Meanwhile, Asghari wore a black wool tuxedo to the ceremony, having met Spears while filming her “Slumber Party” music video in 2016. He wore a white shirt, black loafers, and a black silk bow tie with his elegant Versace jacket, which included silk satin embellishments.
Spears chose a wedding gown that resembled the one she wore when she married Kevin Federline in 2004. On that day, she wore a strapless satin wedding gown by Monique Lhuillier, a Filipina American bridalwear designer, and subsequently changed into a white lace mini-dress with a high neck and open back.
