“As smooth as butter that will put you in like no other,” BTS will make one fall for them even more as they unveil the full tracklist for their upcoming  CD-version of Butter along with their mega-hit single, “Butter,” which is set to be released digitally and physically on July 9 at 1 in the afternoon KST.

On July 2 at midnight KST, Big Hit Music shared the official tracklist of the band’s CD single on Twitter. It is composed of four tracks: “Butter,” which was previously released as a digital single last May, and their new soundtrack, “Permission to Dance,” and as well as instrumentals of both songs.

The new addition to BTS’ discography, “Permission to Dance,” is produced by Steve Mac, Stephen Kirk, Jenna Andrews and written by Ed Sheeran, which will delight fans of both the group and the artist.

BTS indeed treasures their fans so much that they designed this new CD to celebrate ARMY’s birthday (the day BTS’s fandom got their official name, ARMY or Adorable Representative MC for Youth).

Their smash hit summer single, “Butter,” released on May 21, has garnered over five Guinness World Records that were announced last May 25. It broke the records for “most viewers for the premiere of a music video on Youtube,” which peaked with 3.9 million concurrent viewers for its premiere; “the most viewed Youtube music video in 24 hours by a K-pop group”; and “the most viewed Youtube music video in 24 hours” by any artist. It has also set the record for “the most streamed track on Spotify in the first 24 hours,” with a total of 11,042,335 global streams in just one day, which even beat Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber’s 2019 hit “I Don’t Care.”

It did not only break records but also reigned on the Billboard Hot 100 as it had its fifth week at the top, making it the group’s most extended milestone for a number 1 hit. Previously, BTS got their first no. 1 hit on the Billboard chart with their first English single, “Dynamite,” which topped the charts for three weeks.

According to Big Hit Music, “Butter” puts forth BTS’s unique charm that no one else can pull off. The smooth and charismatic charms of BTS will surely melt listener’s hearts. In addition, the fun and witty lyrics brimming with positive and bright energy will instantly uplift moods.

Everybody is already eyeing the “Butter” CD release, especially with the consistent revelation of teaser photos composed of four different concepts showcasing the boys’ chicness and style as they capture the hearts of their audience. Take a look at their concept photos on Big Hit Music’s Twitter page.

Catch the “Butterful” Getaway with BTS on July 9 on their Special Talk Show and Performance Stage for “Permission to Dance” at NAVER NOW on 9 PM KST and Performance Stage only at HYBE LABELS Youtube Channel at 9:30 PM KST.
