“I founded Craft Films LA to create meaningful stories and support emerging filmmakers,” he says.
With a filmmaking degree from WBUT and certifications in Advanced Cinematography, Avid Editing, and Panavision Camera Operations, Surzo is among the few with such credentials from Los Angeles City College and New York Film Academy. His collaborations with Universal Studios Hollywood, Netflix, and more have deepened his expertise in American filmmaking.
Beyond film, Surzo volunteered with the American Red Cross during the 2025 Los Angeles wildfires, reinforcing his commitment to the community. “Being part of this city means supporting each other in tough times,” he shares.
