Deion Campbell survived one of the worst experiences of his life in March 2020. He spent twelve days on a ventilator and another 40 days in the hospital, making a full recovery and rehabilitating. Not many people stood a chance with the novel virus, COVID-19, but Deion Campbell fought bravely and survived the virus. Moving on from this nightmare, Deion wrote a book titled Ventilator, which documents his ordeal with the virus. The book, Ventilator, will be published on Amazon on October 28, 2020, which is his birthday.

Besides being an author, Deion Campbell is also a professional photographer who became a podcast host on Spotify after his experience with COVID-19. In his podcast named King Legend Talks, he invites celebrities and influencers to discuss their journey to fame and success. As a young 27-year-old man, Deion has a unique outlook on life. He takes every opportunity to learn something new, and the time he caught the coronavirus was a defining moment for him. Throughout those twelve days, he gained new insights. He got motivated to inspire as many people as possible to keep pursuing their dreams even though his career as a photographer was put on pause after his recovery.

Deion Campbell has been featured on NBC, FOX, and ABC channels, as an influential photographer. He also had a billboard in Hampton, VA, with his face on it when he was in the photography business. He started his podcast after his recovery from COVID-19, which left him with nerve damage in his right arm. This nerve damage put a pause on his photography career as it temporarily made it impossible for him to hold a camera. So as he shares his story and has found a new passion in writing and speaking, Deion has made himself an advocate who tells people to never give up no matter what they face.

He shares a lot of inspiration and motivation in his book. His COVID-19 experience is one that gave him a clearer view of life. In his words, “Life is too short. I almost lost my life to COVID-19 under the ventilator in March 2020, and I realized that you only got one shot to make the very best of life. Leading by example has always been my thing. The birth of my brand comes from my ambition and drive to be the greatest of all time at whatever it is I do and to leave a legacy for the next generation to follow.”

His book is his way of establishing himself as an authority in the motivational speaking niche. He hopes that sales will reach a wide audience and give him the publicity he needs to change people’s lives. His target audience includes anyone who considers themselves a go-getter, avid book readers, medical professionals, and anyone who needs something to inspire them to do better. “I want everyone to be inspired by my survival story and want to take the steps necessary to be as safe as possible during this global pandemic.”
