The declaration of Nancy Pelosi together with her allies about the $3 trillion coronavirus spending bill and the approval of the House Democrats Friday night with just one Republican support is unreasonable.
Despite of the uproar about the most expensive bill ever passed in the history of the House of Representative, yet Pelosi did not said anything nor Republican input about the issue. Also, she didn’t refer to the Senate even the White House—a Republican dominated. As I learned about the nuttier parts of the bill, it shocked me to the point that I thought it was a joke.
The $3T Corona Virus Relief Bill marks the US history for being the most drastic program agreed by the House of Democratics—Justin Haskins
Still dazed, I tweeted “How do you explain a House Democratic Party so crazy that their new $3 trillion proposals has 68 references to Cannabis and only 52 references to jobs? Maybe Speaker Pelosi of San Francisco believes ‘California Dreamin’ could become the new national anthem.”
In bits and pieces, there are a lot of unexplainable provisions in the bill including:
Deliver illegal money to the citizens of the country
Tolerate illegal immigrants to get the jobs supposedly for over 30 million unemployed Americans
Allocate financing to abortion using people’s taxes despite of americans opposition by 59% to 29%.
Block voter identification laws although 80% of the americans are in favor of it.
Additionnal $1 trillion for the state and local governments aside from the tax dollars they already accumulate.
Cutting the taxes of blue states’ richest americans
Insisting americans’ liberal illusions
The shameless bill push me to tweet “Trump District Democrats need to be pushed on their support or opposition to the Pelosi $3 trillion bill.”
If the Republicans concentrate on it, then it will be worst for the democratic candidates. The Republicans will despise the bill and so as the independents and the moderates.
Because of the issues related to the bill, Pelosi will definitely receive disagreement from 75% or 85% of the U.S.
The dreadful move will be the US House Election and Senate Elections’ center of attention. It would assure the Republican triumph through promotion of ostracized by Pelosi and the Democrats.
But looking at Speaker Pelosi’s congress career since 1987, she battled and got her way as the first female speaker of House in 2007 until 2011. After eight years as a minority leader, she become the speaker for the second time.
Being the mastermind of different campaigns; she has been navigating intricate political moves. Nevertheless, Pelosi is a real tough survivor.
With the strong background she had, it must be a comprehensive tactic for her to support an extreme, high cost and debatable bill like this.
Figuring the reasons behind Pelosi’s and her party about their exposed position brought me to a three-part hypothesis.
One. Having the background of the polls about the Republicans being more enthusiastic than the democrats, Pelosi perhaps believes that this will be the base turn out election.
Since she already reinforced the special elections for the House seats in Wisconsin and California.
In Wisconsin, the GOP conveniently reserved a House seat in an essential sway state for the presidential election.
The Republicans hadn’t converted a Democratic seat in Pelosi’s home state since 1998, California must distinctly shock her. Not until 2016 when Hillary Clinton became the 2016 presidential candidate and made a breakthrough after 22 years. The victory of the GOP placed the Republican base in a more energized situation.
In Pelosi’s point of view, letting the cannabis users and investors freely move must be a substantial decision. For they are mostly democratic base traditional small business owners are part of the Republican base.
Exciting the extreme, pro-abortion activists support her by turnouts and donations. Well-organized reiteration of “diversity” attracts to her ideological activists and—barely—minority communities.
Attracting illegal immigrant communities is beneficial to Pelosi. Then, the Democrats are seriously operating for the illegal immigrants to vote in a number of states.
The tax cuts to the bluest states’ richest people directly serve to her donor base and help public employee unions through bearable state and local taxes.
Providing additional money to the worst-run states having the biggest pension debt (Illinois and New Jersey) aids the public union employees of Pelosi and those states’ Democratic politicians.
Pelosi mostly deliberated it- as commonly- the Republican candidates will overlook its center. She must be taking a gamble that in a short time, the Republicans and the independents will not remember the atrocious left-wing inclination.
Still, Pelosi’s base will excite to elect the former Vice President Joe Biden Democratic majorities in the House and Senate in order to get the ideologies and the finances she merged into the bill.
It is the biggest bet for Pelosi. If the Republicans have enough control and strength, she will compensate for a substantial worth for it.
