Ethan Schulteis’ Amagi Publishing Expands Reach with The Leaderboard Takeover

Amagi Publishing, owned by Ethan Schulteis, has acquired The Leaderboard, a YouTube channel with 1.5 million subscribers. The acquisition expands the reach of Amagi to over 6 million YouTube subscribers. The combination of The Leaderboard’s network and following with Amagi’s content expertise is expected to benefit both companies.

Ethan Schulteis, also known online as The Amagi, is the CEO and creator of Amagi Publishing, a video production company. Schulteis started his online presence with the YouTube channel “The Amagi,” which has over a million subscribers and 400 million views.

In 2021, Frederator Digital approached Ethan Schulteis with a proposition to partner with them and run their flagship YouTube channel “ChannelFrederator,” which had two million subscribers at the time. Under his leadership, the channel gained an additional 100,000 subscribers and created several viral videos with over one million views, including “The Complete Despicable Me Timeline,” which received 400,000 likes, a new record for the channel.

A year after his initial partnership with Frederator, on July 4th, the company approached Ethan again with the opportunity to lead their live-action channel “Cinematica.” The partnership was successful and on January 25th 2023, Ethan announced the takeover of yet another popular channel, “The Leaderboard,” which had 1.5 million subscribers. As a result of these acquisitions, Ethan and Amagi Publishing now manage three Frederator channels, including “The Leaderboard,” with the combined subscriber base of the partnered channels being over four million, with hundreds of millions of views being earned annually.
