While the COVID-19 pandemic may have shut down gyms around the world, it has inspired many to take control of their health. Amber Smith wants to help these women embark on their fitness journey.
The personal trainer based in Melbourne, Australia was worried about the future of her business when the coronavirus pandemic first set-in in March. Gyms in the city only just began to reopen in November for the first time in eight months, except for a 16 day stint in June.
With face-to-face training no longer an option, the young entrepreneur was forced to move her whole business online and scale her online training brand Amber Smith Fitness (ASF).
“I was ultimately forced to transition all clients from the gym online. I began coaching clients and also providing regular free workout guides to my community online and watched as it grew enormously this year,” Amber said.
“By continuing online, we’ve produced more content for social media including Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube and has enabled ASF to help more women around the world achieve their desired health and fitness goals.”
The unexpected shift ultimately paid off and has allowed the trainer to reach even more women than ever before. Amber’s targeted booty and glute workout plans have connected with thousands of women around the world in just one year since the launch of the fitness brand, with ASF active in Australia, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Saudi Arabia and more.
Amber currently has over 68,000 Instagram followers and the audience seeking out her workout guides on Instagramand YouTube is growing daily.
“I want everyone to feel as though they can connect with and join the ASF community. It is possible for anyone including them, to achieve what they desire in life, be it their health and fitness goals or otherwise,” Amber said.
“I decided to make it my mission to help other young women around the world learn what I learnt about food and exercise so they too could feel empowered and achieve a lean body with a juicy booty.”
Amber plans to resume face-to-face training when the gyms reopen but will continue to offer online support to her growing community.
Amber Smith Fitness currently offers two eight week programs for the gym and at home, ranging between $AUD50 and $AUD79, and booty band two packs for $AUD30.
The brand’s latest product, the new Mini Band collection, will launch in November. The set of three resistance bands is perfect for home and gym training and will be available just in time for Christmas and New Years, offering a combination of aesthetic and quality not yet seen in similar Australian products.
The personal trainer knows first hand just how much falling in love with exercise can make difference to training and your life.
Amber was inspired to embark on her own fitness journey after quitting dancing at the age of 17. She had trained from the age of three and was on her way to become a professional ballerina, attending the Russian Choreographic Academy in Melbourne. But, after years of bullying and undereating, she decided to quit and follow her passions.
“I understand the difficulty and sense of achievement that comes as part of a fitness journey,” Amber said.
“I have a passion for health and fitness and want to help other women feel happy, healthy, sexy and empowered in their own bodies.”
