Glilot Capital is expanding its leadership team with the appointment of Rinat Remler as its fifth partner, reinforcing the firm’s commitment to pairing financial strength with operational expertise.
Remler is an experienced senior financial executive with a career spanning global organizations and early-stage startups. Over the years, she has supported companies through seed funding, revenue generation, and exits, leveraging transactional knowledge and a strong network across commercial and investment banks, institutions, venture capital, and private equity groups in Israel, the U.S., and Europe.
“We are excited to welcome Rinat Remler as our newest partner,” said Co-Founder & Managing Partner Arik Kleinstein. “Rinat brings significant operational expertise and a solid track record of working alongside founders to scale internationally. Her addition strengthens our ability to provide hands-on support for entrepreneurs at every stage of their journey.”
At Glilot, Remler will serve as an operating partner with a mandate to enhance portfolio support and accelerate global scaling for founders. Her appointment reflects the firm’s belief that entrepreneurs need more than just capital to succeed. They require partners who can help them navigate complex markets and build enduring businesses.
A $500 Million Milestone
The leadership expansion coincides with one of Glilot’s major milestones: a $500 million fundraise backed by major financial institutions across the U.S., Europe, and Israel. This increase brings Glilot’s assets under management to over $1 billion, further establishing the firm as a prominent player in the venture capital space.
“This raise highlights the confidence global financial institutions have in our unique investment model and track record of performance,” said Kobi Samboursky, Co-Founder & Managing Partner. “We are proud to partner with investors who share our vision of supporting entrepreneurs building innovative technologies that shape the future of enterprise software and cybersecurity.”
The capital will be split between Glilot Seed, which focuses on early-stage ventures, and Glilot Plus, which supports later-stage companies. This dual approach provides founders with continuity of funding and strategic guidance throughout their growth journey.
Proven Success in Cyber and AI
Since its founding in 2011, Glilot has established itself as a successful venture capital firm. Its first fund achieved a notable 8-for-8 exit record, and the firm has since recorded 22 exits overall.
Glilot has supported market leaders such as AtBay, a cyber insurance provider; UpStream, a pioneer in automotive cybersecurity; and ScaleOps, a growing player in FinOps. Acquisitions by companies like Palo Alto Networks (Cider Security) and Rapyd7 (IntSights) further demonstrate the firm’s ability to identify successful ventures early. More recently, Glilot-backed Noma and Appcharge secured substantial Series B rounds, reinforcing their positions as leading players in their respective categories.
More Than Capital
What distinguishes Glilot is its focus on value creation beyond funding. The firm’s Value Creation department, the largest within Glilot, offers portfolio companies practical support in go-to-market strategies, enterprise partnerships, and sector-specific expertise.
“This new capital not only validates our past performance but also empowers us to continue growing in the Cyber and AI sectors,” Samboursky added. “We deeply believe in the Israeli ecosystem and will continue to support both local and global talent.”
Looking Forward
For Glilot, the combination of a $500 million fundraise and the addition of Rinat Remler represents both continuity and evolution. The firm continues to concentrate on cybersecurity and AI, sectors where it has built a solid track record, while also enhancing the leadership resources available to its portfolio companies.
For founders, this means access to not only capital but also a partner whose experience spans boardrooms, startups, and growth stages. With over $1 billion in assets under management and Remler now in place, Glilot signals a strong intent: to scale alongside the entrepreneurs it supports and shape the next generation of global technology leaders.
