People always have the potential to make breakthroughs and become better versions of themselves, and this is something that executive coach and leadership development speaker Shaan Rais believes. He knows this because he did it himself.
Prior to standing where he is today, Shaan studied to get a master’s degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. He specialized in Evidence-Based Coaching before studying again in Organizational Development and Change at the illustrious Fielding Graduate university. He devised a spin on the 100+ year old DISC assessment with strategic business-centric gamification throughout his studies by utilizing the game chess.
Dr. Eric Thomas would later certify Shaan in the ETA Game Changers Program as an ETA Speaker. However, since the pandemic struck, Shaan pivoted into his coaching competency to coach entrepreneurs and teach them how to leverage technology and their experience and expertise to become what he calls #BrandedLikeALeader.
He created an 8-week course to teach people how they can brand themselves. By using a multi-faceted framework, Shaan has empowered dozens of entrepreneurs without having to create any ads. He has turned the marketing world on its head through digital and traditional means.
Unlike most entrepreneurs and high-level influencers, Shaan has a high level of education, amassing over eight years of studies. Holding two master’s degrees, he is also a dissertation away from a PhD in Organizational Development and Change. Shaan and his Black Assembly of Mentors decided that he would complete the coursework for an EdD in Leadership for Change with a specialization in Evidence-Based Coaching and then combine the dissertations and hold two doctorates.
Shaan is already planning to take a third program in a PhD for Media Psychology with a concentration in Brand Psychology and Audience Engagement. Simultaneously, he keeps a strict regimen of the most high-level exclusive executive and master-level coaching.
Before becoming a branding powerhouse, Shaan worked in several organizations. There he saw that there was a severe lack of support. While influencers were influencing, they placed other people in charge of their programs, promotions, and marketing the programs, securing followers and clients, and then disappearing with the money and hiring substitutes to lead the program. He knew that changed needed to come.
Shaan also wanted to do something that could speak to the experience of black leadership excellence and business mastery. He saw that building something great and powerful, like a brand, would empower students to take control of their own lives back and leave jobs where they weren’t valued or that didn’t allow them to serve to the highest degree.
Successful as he is now, Shaan wants his company to become a brand generational leader that empowers people to take back control of their lives and obtain financial freedom through discipline, high-level morals, values, principles, leadership, and customer service. He also wants it to become an institute of learning, business, economics, branding, leadership, and a representation of the potential marginalized populations hold if given the opportunity.
Shaan wants people to know that someone cares and shares their aspirations. He knows that they can do so much more once they conquer their inner demons and rise above them and find unity and business continuity and love for themselves.
