William Beaird used to live paycheck to paycheck. He was working at a corporate job just like everyone else, right after he graduated college. There would be weeks when he would have to drive Uber on the weekends just to have enough money for groceries. He knew that he wasn’t getting anywhere with his life, and he knew that he wasn’t in an environment that would help him grow and realize his full potential.
He was grinding as a manager for the biggest ready-mix and aggregate company in the world. He learned a lot about the corporate structure, but his work felt meaningless, and he felt like he wasn’t making a positive impact on the world. Beaird felt tired of his soul-sucking job to the point that he dreaded the drive to the office. One day, he finally decided to take a stand and quit his job cold turkey.
At that point, he was jobless, broke, and homeless. He had to sleep at a friend’s office room floor in order to have a place to stay. During this time, he dove headfirst into the business industry, doing side hustles such as Forex, dropshipping, and network marketing. He was learning the ropes as he went along.
This time when he looked all around him, all he saw were people that were far younger than him but were much more successful. He saw people that were earning six to seven figures at such a young age. After studying those people, he eventually realized that earning money wasn’t about how they did it. It was about WHY they did it. So Beaird sought a higher purpose for his craft and started teaching other people how to do business the right way.
Eventually, he scaled his businesses and grew them into six-figure companies. Guided by his business philosophy of acquiring enough leverage to build wealth, he became the founder and CEO of Millennial to Millionaire and Hooked on Funnels. Through Beaird’s impressive work ethic and his passion for business, he was able to develop a guide for other budding entrepreneurs to follow in his footsteps.
Throughout his seasoned entrepreneurial career, he has built four key principles that allowed him to turn his life around. Beaird shares this knowledge to his clients and enables them to leverage themselves through their own means, especially through the wider audience that’s readily available in all the big social media platforms.
His four key principles begin with the first principle, finding the right coach and knowing who to listen to. Beaird acknowledges that listening to the wrong people will always lead to accepting the wrong advice. An entrepreneur should only listen to the right people and should be able to discern good advice from bad advice, it might take time, but it’s an incredibly useful skill to master.
The second principle is all about wanting to learn and being teachable. Beaird didn’t start out as a successful businessman. He admits that there were so many things he had to learn in order to get to where he is now. He always made himself teachable no matter what, and this principle ultimately guided him toward learning the ways of business holistically.
The third principle involves the Training Balance Scale, which is all about knowing how to balance one’s thoughts with one’s actions. With every action, a lot of thought must be put into it, especially when someone wants to be a successful entrepreneur. Beaird notes that the perfect Training Balance Scale would be 90% thoughts into 10% actions.
The fourth principle is all about the four Cognitive Steps of Learning. As learning is incredibly valuable in business, one must understand how learning works and how new information is processed by humans. Most people go to school without even knowing how to learn, and Beaird finds it extremely troublesome, which is why he has laid out the foundation with the four cognitive steps, such as Unconscious Incompetence, Conscious Incompetence, Conscious Competence, and Unconscious Competence. Each step is a brand-new step that puts what anyone has learned into certain periods of competence. Once someone is competent with something without even realizing it, then that becomes proof that one has successfully learned something.
Beaird has been helping experts in different fields transform their expertise into high-ticket coaching programs. He himself has also helped a lot of budding entrepreneurs learn a lot about the industry as well. He is exceptionally skilled at finding value in things that he puts his mind into, and every venture that William Beaird has set out to do has been nothing short of amazing.
