Los Angeles, CA – Inanna, a visionary artist whose work is entirely dedicated to nature, animals, and the future of our planet, is redefining the boundaries of the music industry with her unique, genre-bending sound and powerful activist message.
As a singer, songwriter, producer, and ARTivist based in Los Angeles, Inanna’s music is a powerful blend of ancient and contemporary rhythms, electronic atmospheres, and world influences, creating a movement that celebrates the interconnectedness of humans, technology, animals, and nature. The combination of a strong environmental message, mythological imagery and cross-cultural influences in her music is timely, innovative and one-of-a-kind.
Inanna embarked on this climate music journey in 2018 after moving to Los Angeles. Since adopting the name “Inanna,” she has been committed to her mission to create music that speaks up for the Earth and the future of nature. Her first release in mid-2019 quickly caught the attention of media, blogs, and magazines. She has independently released over 20 singles and a full collection and more recently collaborated with London-based label The Animal Farm, led by the Leppanen brothers.
Inanna’s sound is very distinctive, merging ethno-alternative elements with futuristic vibes. She describes herself as a cyber-priestess who stands between Nature and Culture, light and dark, old and new. Through her enchanting soundscapes and innovative mixtures of sounds, Inanna brings us a profound message of awe and reverence for the Earth and all Earthlings.
Inanna’s evocative lyrics and melodious cross-cultural harmonies serve as an inviting rallying cry, urging listeners to embrace the collective responsibility of nurturing our planet. She invites us all to become allies and come together to act on what needs to be changed in our relationship with the natural world. Her music offers listeners a journey toward a possible future where humanity has forged a better relationship with the environment and animals.
Inanna’s collaborations with internationally recognized artists such as Digital 21 and Stefan Olsdal of Placebo have furthered her career in the music industry. Together, they released a track in 2021 and are currently working on a new original track.
Inanna’s YouTube channel has reached millions of views, with her most popular music videos, “Contagious” and “Change,” getting more than half a million and 200,000 views, respectively. Her songs “Change,” “Are We Vampires?” “Nefertiti XXI” and “Invisible City” have been honored with multiple festival selections and awards.
As a leader in climate music, Inanna’s work is artistic activism and a call to action. Her unique approach and commitment to the cause make her a standout figure in a changing music industry and a powerful advocate for environmental conservation.
In addition to her musical endeavors, Inanna co-founded Better Earth Media, a women-led non-profit organization that amplifies voices advocating for the future of the planet. She also serves as the Head of Development at Better Earth Productions, an LA-based production company dedicated to using contemporary media to engage audiences and ignite a passion for climate stories, environmental conservation, and animal rights.
Currently, Inanna is preparing for an upcoming event with LA Climate Week, scheduled to take place in September. She is also working on new music and collaborations while producing eco-content and events and volunteering weekly at an animal sanctuary.
