As an artist carving a name for himself in today’s music world, Jiwanta is brimming with confidence and laser-type focus. Born Jiwanta Panday in Kathmandu, Nepal, Jiwanta moved to the United States in 2006 when he was three years old. And currently, at 17 years old, he has chosen the long path to stardom as a rapper, producer, and songwriter.
His two songs, “Crash Out” and “Racks,” had given him some airplay, and got noticed by anyone for the first time when Adam 22 from the podcast “No Jumper” listened to his single, “Crash Out.” This gave him more exposure and got more people to listen to his songs. Popular YouTuber Tommy Craze has also used some of Jiwanta’s songs on his YouTube channel with more than 2 million subscribers. Jiwanta has more than 5 million SoundCloud streams to his name on both his songs and featured
He recently signed a distribution deal with Trap Money Records and some big names in the music industry such as NLE Choppa, YBN Nahmir, Lil Xan, Comethazine, Lil Mosey and see others have endorsed his music. He also continues to receive license deal offers from A&Rs from different record labels because they have listened to his music and see potential there.
Jiwanta is focused on creating a distinct sound and flow that male teenagers in the United States will find appealing. Everything that Jiwanta does with his music is geared towards standing out and being unique. He puts a great deal of work and effort into his rap style, bars, flows, and even music art. And every day, his music continues to cross borders and earn him support from every part of the world.
While stardom is one of the things that Jiwanta aims to achieve, his ultimate goal is to leave a legacy. In his words, “I want to leave a legacy. We all have an expiration date, and the sad truth is after our grandkids, we probably will never be talked about or mentioned again, and I want my name to be remembered as a credible person. When you have a strong and well-known brand, your credibility with customers, in your industry, and the marketplace shoots up. When you work on gaining enough credibility, you also build recognition, loyalty, and competitiveness.”
He has many people that he looks up to who have left behind great enviable legacies despite building their names from scratch. Those people inspire him and make him want to do better with his name and his craft. Unlike most artists, he has a different vision for his career in the next five years. His goal will always be getting to the top in the music industry, but he’s more particular about building a big name for himself. He hopes that the aggregation of his unique life experiences, struggles, and stories will inspire someone and make everyone see him as an authentic person worthy of getting a shot at stardom. Jiwanta is here to dominate, and he is willing to do all it takes.
