Justin Thornton is an entrepreneur, investor, and business owner living it up in New York City. Only twenty-eight years old, Justin already has a plethora of businesses and is often seen zipping around Manhattan in his McLaren with his trusty sidekick pup, Scout.
His story starts in Atlanta, Georgia, where he was born and raised. A true-blue Southern gentleman, Justin attended the University of Alabama for his bachelor of commerce degree in business administration and management. He then went on to obtain his MBA in business strategy.
At only nineteen, he started his first business in audiovisual design and installation. His business was so popular that it grew to be the premier home theater installer in the area. This opened doors for him to do large-scale AV projects for hotels around the United States. A few years later, he started two more businesses, which became Skyline Corporation.
These experiences instilled in him his drive as an entrepreneur. The success of his businesses gave him the income, lifestyle, and toys that any guy in their twenties would dream of. Most importantly, it allowed him to travel the world. Traveling opened his eyes to different cultures and other opportunities around the world.
This traveling led to a leap in faith to move to New York City, where he started a new life. This opened the door to numerous new opportunities, relationships, and the start of a new career working in finance. Working in the New York corporate world was quite an adjustment for him, as it was much different from working in the suburbs of the south. Luckily, he quickly found his place in his new world.
Since moving to New York, he has done less traveling to focus on work. His most notable recent trip was the yacht trip that recently aired on Bravo TV, Below Deck. Last summer, the show’s production crew reached out to him and asked if he would like to charter the boat for season 5 of Below Deck Mediterranean.
The show captured the attention of millions as the crew pulled out all the stops to make the trip amazing despite the inclement weather. He stated the trip was an overall fantastic experience for him, especially with the 72 plate dinner, which was the highlight of the trip.
