Known for being one of the few cosmetic dentistry practitioners in the Tri-state area and a recipient of a Fellowship at the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD), an honor which is shared by only 7% of the dentists nationwide, Dr. Konstantine Trichas stands as a dominant figure in the dentistry arena who has crafted some of the most beautiful smiles in the Northeast region. Today, he marks his second decade of providing his patients with state-of-the-art cosmetic dentistry.
The Canadian-born cosmetic dentist graduated as a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the State University of New York Buffalo, better known as the University of Buffalo, School of Dental Medicine. He then completed his General Practice Residency at Muhlenberg Hospital in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and received his Fellowship at the Academy of General Dentistry. Later, Dr. Konstantine Trichas completed Advanced Educational Training with The Hornbrook Group. At present, he is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Much of his success in the dentistry arena stems from his exceptional skill set, coupled with his passion, unparalleled determination, and commitment to higher learning and state-of-the-art technology in dentistry. At present, Dr. Konstantine Trichas holds the United States Patent on Dental Impression Technology, and he is also involved in the movement toward “Digital Workflow” in dentistry. He is invested in the education and implementation of Guided Surgery, Cone Beam Technology, and Digital Impression Technology.
As a dental practitioner, he and his team integrate health, function, and beauty through top-tier cosmetic dentistry. Ultimately, his mission is to provide a safe space where patients can seek dental care services comfortably. His priority lies in giving each patient the highest level of care while experiencing the most complex dental procedures. To do this, Dr. Konstantine Trichas keeps himself at the forefront of the latest technology, such as Chrome-Guided Surgery Technology, which allows placing implants in a less invasive yet more precise manner.
Dr. Konstantine Trichas has spent two decades of his practice perfecting smile makeovers with master ceramist Jason Kim. But the vision of his practice does not stop there. Every month, he provides free dental work to patients in need as his way of giving back to the community. His pro-bono work has been greatly impactful for many who cannot afford to take care of their oral health issues.
Dentistry is more than just a profession for Dr. Konstantine Trichas. Rather, it is a lifelong passion and a common specialization within his family as his wife is also a board-certified periodontist, and his father-in-law is a dentist and instructor at the New York University College of Dentistry.
For this seasoned dental professional, he believes that the best dental work is more than performing procedures, to the best of his ability, on patients. It is also about educating patients about oral hygiene, helping them understand the essence of dentistry, as well as taking a holistic approach that ensures the perfect integration of health and beauty.
