Meet Inessa Lee – ‘Watch it or Not’ Series Presenter
Inessa Lee started her career in TV as a PBS weather girl. She even got on the 2020 list of Top 5 hottest weather casters in the world, according to Woman Magazine NPP. Although movie industry news is a whole different thing, Inessa took on this challenge with enthusiasm. Just like she did after celebrity judges voted her out of ‘American Idol‘. Shortly afterwards Inessa has conquered the U.S. and European dance floors with infectious tunes, proving that she can sing.
Inessa’s Transformation from Pop Singer into Social Activist
Inessa Lee is best known for U.S. Billboard charting single ‘Gimme All (Ring My Bell)‘ and ‘Dynamite’ music video where she acts as the protector of abused women.
It’s not surprising, that girl power message is always in her music videos, whether she is a “witchy warrior” or a pinup girl fighting the bad guys with her supernatural force.
In fact, Inessa Lee is a social activist of the U.S. Transhumanist Party and a futurist writer. She created equalism – a futuristic socioeconomic theory based on the idea that emerging technologies can end social stratification through even distribution of resources.
The Future of Humanity: Equalism Ideas
According to Inessa’s theory, the primary reason for social inequity is uneven distribution of resources on the planet. Limited resources create competition, poverty and wars: “Almost every war is a conflict over resources. Equalism is a solution to global peace and hunger,” – says Inessa in her Instagram post.
So one of the ways to establish equality is through equalism – a new model of society and economy, in which resources are reproduced and distributed evenly via advanced technology and science.
Inessa Lee believes that equalism is the outcome of capitalism economic expansion, inevitable like evolution itself. It’s only a matter of time and technological progress. Therefore, equalism is a child of the Singularity era.
Inessa’s work is published in The Transhumanism Handbook by Newton Lee (Springer Nature, 2019). It serves as a foundation for the California Transhumanist Party platform.
Who knows where the journey of equality will take us to in the future. But for now let’s dive into the world of movies on KXLA.
