Ensuring that the upcoming batch of influential personalities know what they’re getting into, the vibrant Livia Milano brings her humorous character and offers an exclusive glimpse into life in Hollywood.

As the voice behind the rising “The Not So Sexy, Sexy Podcast with Liv Milano,” Liv is a Sag-Aftra actor, writer, podcaster, and stand-up comedian. Growing up, the enthusiastic artist already knew she wanted a colorful and creative career – an avenue of fun and endless possibilities where the limit stretches as far as her imagination goes.

It was only when she went to college; however, she realized what industry would push her dreams to reality. Livia Milano majored in Film Production at Chapman University. She later pursued a degree in Cinema/TV/Arts from the California State University, Northridge (CSUN), and a Master’s degree in Screenwriting/Mass Communication.

While growing her educational background, Liv discovered a love for stand up comedy. A writing course on the subject inspired her to perform, and in 2011, she made her debut in the Belly Room at the Comedy Store. It was exhilarating.

The energy from the crowd kept her going. As she poured time and effort into perfecting her craft, executives and big names in the industry began to stand in awe of her passion. Liv made appearances on Millionaire Matchmaker and appeared in the film Dead Awake opposite Nick Stahl and Rose McGowan.

In 2018, she joined a community of female comedians, “Pretty Funny Women,” and the year after that launched her popular podcast “The Not So Sexy, Sexy Podcast with Liv Milano”, where she narrates her every day in the business.

“I am raw and real about all of the good and the bad things that have happened to me in Hollywood. I don’t sugarcoat difficult topics and try to give a firsthand account of living in Los Angeles and pursuing your dreams.” Since its inception, Liv’s creative avenue has ranked in the top 200 comedy podcasts on Apple Podcasts and the top 10 in the Stand-Up category.

“I am so thankful for all of the messages I receive from fans who thank me for being extremely candid and open about my life and give them a cathartic experience,” she shares. “Most people on social media try to present a happy front all of the time, and I am there for the part of the population who wants to hear very real and unscripted stories and opinions about the world.”

Providing a light-hearted yet honest perspective on what it’s like behind the big screen, Liv’s podcast is hailed as a guide into the glamorous Los Angeles maze and a resource for the ins and outs of the industry.

Half a decade from now, the enterprising comedian plans on self-producing more episodes on her busy and exciting life. She also hopes to expand to other channels and have a late-night show and a worldwide podcast tour, allowing her to extend past the screen and meet her loyal followers.Listen to “The Not So Sexy, Sexy Podcast with Liv Milano” and get to know the sassy, funny character behind it on Apple Podcast and Liv’s official website.
