Overcoming a lifelong habit of procrastination is one of mindset coach Kevin Paulraj’s greatest accomplishments and has allowed him to help others reach their potential.
The Sydney-based performance expert wasted thousands of dollars in his younger life chasing unnecessary education courses which he never finished as a way to put off chasing what he really wanted.
Ten years later, he is now running a six-figure business helping 100 businesses owners reach their goals and do speaking gigs to help and inspire others to reach their goals. This newfound work-life balance alongside being a loving father and husband has given him a purpose for forging his path.
“I built up $70,000 in debt on multiple uni courses, college courses and diplomas but did not complete even one,” Mr Paulraj said.
“Thinking back, I realise I had a habit of starting things I could not finish and used my ADD symptoms like ‘poor focus’ as an excuse,” he said.
“Really, studying was not what I truly wanted. It was something I was doing just to fit in with my peers which is why I could never find the motivation to finish – I was lacking the inspiration from within.
“When I began living with purpose, the procrastination disappeared instantly.”
His own journey helped the mindset coach realise that procrastination is one of the biggest factors holding people back and specialises in helping business people excel in their own work lives by mastering their emotions, habits and goals to create an unstoppable in life.
Mr Paulraj does this by helping people realise what they are really wanting them to achieve and encouraging them to structure their lives to reach heir goal. Consistent check-ins hold them accountable to get there.
He has worked with many up and coming agents within several leading real estate groups including Ray White, Harcourts, Laing+Simmons and Century 21 to help them achieve their goals and double their performance by focusing on mindset, emotions and habits.
The coach also offers one-on-one coaching, group coaching, coaching for businesses & real estates, retreats, workshops and speaks at corporations and keynote events.
The coronavirus program he created got results for many of Mr Paulraj’s salesperson clients in Sydney and around the country via online coaching. Words of mouth praise helped the reach and impact of his business to skyrocket since April.
“I want people to realise that there is more to life,” Mr Paulraj said. “There are resources and leaders that care and are willing to support you along the way in the face of any challenges that may exist.”
