There is always a story found in each musical piece – a narrative told by thousands of talented individuals leaving their hearts in the open for all to see. Out of those thousands of musicians and millions of songs, no one tells a story quite like Quienten David.
Spinning a tale of gold with each strum of his guitar, Quienten David is a famous musician well-loved for his inspiring and motivational music. Driven by his passion for great sound and being a positive influence for the younger generation, Quienten’s albums show only signs of getting better and better.
Quienten David’s story begins with his birth in 1994 at Waukegan, Illinois. Shortly after he was born, Quienten was put into foster care, where he found a family. “They took me out of the system, put clothes on my back, shoes on my feet, and raised me with country standards,” he recalls.
As a kid, Quienten was well-acquainted with several instruments. He started playing the piano, then showed exceptional skill with the trombone, capturing the adult orchestra’s attention and invitation.
Although a future in the orchestra showed great promise, Quienten knew his heart was not in it. It wasn’t until his father got him his first guitar that his life changed. Quinten David, a well-known music artist, was born.
“The first song I ever learned on guitar was ‘Dust in the Wind’ by Kansas City,” he shares. Practicing the music piece until his fingers flew over guitar strings in familiarity, the young musician took his first step into the industry.
Exploring the world of music further, Quienten sat in the choir’s pews at church. He strengthened his faith through singing and fell into a deep love for contemporary gospel music. The passionate artist later developed his craft by doing a drumline with some of his high school football teammates during lunch and even drew the admiration of his coach, Don Beebe, the former NFL player for the Green Bay Packers.
While making history in landing the State Championship in 2011, Quienten David kept himself busy writing songs, playing at talent shows, and showcasing his gift. It didn’t take long before people began recognizing him, and it was precisely that recognition that had his name shaking the stage of The Voice 2019.
“In 2019, I auditioned for The Voice. I was asked to sing 60 seconds in front of everyone, and the producer of the show gave me an automatic call back to the second round.”
Despite not advancing to the third, the exposure that the show gave him built a sturdy foundation for Quienten’s overwhelming popularity. With a crowd chanting his name, the talented music artist picked up his guitar and won thousands of hearts.
“There is something special that happens when you gather ’round to hear a good story,” Quienten reveals. As if playing in an intimate bonfire, the lyrics to Quienten David’s songs hold his audience’s complete attention, and the artist plans to use this hold to impart a positive message.
On his mission to inspire and motivate his reach, Quienten says, “I want the crowd to be influenced by morals, and ethics weaved into the music, something that they can head bob to, knowing full well that the music is feeding their soul.”
