Many artists today either live in the present or look to the future. But very few artists can honor and live in the glorious past of historical and iconic art and bring it to the present and the future. One such artist is Nemo Intelligere. Many art enthusiasts and critics have described the rising artist as a “true renaissance mind living in the now.”
Nemo spent many years working in the background as he chose to remain a working apprentice of another notable artist. All the while, he searched for divine inspiration that would help reveal man’s true identity—Nemo shares how his most authentic work has been in breaking the spiritual codes that bring us greater enlightenment. “When you work in the spirit, you see things, patterns, codes,” shares the artist. “Some codes take years to reveal themselves, sometimes five hundred years.”
The artist has a deep passion for studying the late artist Leonardo Da Vinci. His deep dive into the art world extends beyond even prehistoric times. Nemo recounts the many revelations he had that helped physicists and polymaths decode information relating to ancient Egypt’s mysteries.
In February 2019, Nemo set out to create one of his most notable works yet: a 5-by-25-foot interpretation of Leonardo Davinci’s “The Last Supper.” He entitled his work “The Grail 2019,” and dubbed it a tribute to the late Da Vinci’s 500th anniversary.
Nemo’s crown artwork brings the last supper scene into life through a perfect sculptural depiction of each character, instantly transporting anyone into the past. The artist’s intention was to honor the original, which rests on a wall in Milano. His sculpture perfectly mirrors the elegance and style that Da Vinci’s “The Last Supper” graces. Nemo has spent a significant portion of his life studying the legendary artist, creator, and genius. “No other artist ever mattered more to me,” expresses Nemo. “He was something much greater than an artist and that’s what resonates in me.”
“The Grail 2019” was Nemo’s first solo commission and rightfully introduced his work to the world. The sculpture is today kept amongst a private collection in Connecticut.
“They say don’t give pearls to the pigs, but some secrets are meant to be discovered,” shares the artist. I’ve been down this path my whole life. My heart has led me to trust my experiences, and so I can be confident that I am performing my purpose.”
Nemo has dedicated his life to understanding all individual relationships with the core of creation and expressing it for all to witness. He hopes that his art and life will provide people a more profound spiritual revelation that brings clarity and liberty to all. His art is a reflection of that life calling, as he dedicates his creativity and talent to the transcendent discovery.
The artist’s work aims to connect with art enthusiasts and mystery lovers all over the world. And while his message may feel enigmatic at times, Nemo encourages all observers of his art to find an individualized code for themselves.
