Emerging Non-Fungible Token (NFT) Tropical Turtles is currently riding the NFT wave that has taken the investment sector by storm. With more and more young investors becoming inclined to invest in the enormous potential of this investment option, the community is one of several tokens that remain at the forefront of bringing multiple holders to the next level. From Tropical Turtles, the founders of the community are currently poised to introduce yet another promising investment, the Tropical Otters.
The team behind Tropical Turtles is nothing but excited to introduce its new token in the coming months. It is made up of Loya, in charge of marketing; Ghost, in charge of development; and Eday, the in-house artist who designed the overall look of each distinct turtle.
“We have the cutest art,” the team revealed. “Our turtles are amazing and made by our amazing artist, Eday. He worked hard for all of them, and they turned out amazing, and the community loves them. We also have 50%+ unique ownership, which means that our community is really huge and loves the artwork.”
Among its many attributes as a community, it will also be actively contributing to worthy causes, such as the initiative recently done by its predecessor. Just recently, the community donated $10,000 to the Turtle Conservancy, an organization dedicated to protecting threatened turtles and tortoises and their habitats worldwide. This was after the community was formally launched last September 28, 2021, at 2 PM EST.
This initiative could not come at a better time. As of 2020, 187 among 360 known turtles and tortoise species are considered under threat according to the IUCN Red List criteria. Among the 187 species under threat, 127 are either endangered or critically endangered. Experts believe that many could go extinct within the century if they remain unprotected and poaching is not actively curbed. As of 2021, experts estimate that there are 6.5 million sea turtles in the wild. The critically endangered hawksbill turtles are estimated to be only 57,000 left around the world.
Tropical Turtles is an exciting collection of 1,500 randomly generated NFTs on the Ethereum blockchain. Each turtle is carefully designed to look adorable and desirable, from their body to their hats, faces, and outfits. There are turtles featuring VR goggles, headbands, party hats, and headphones, among others. There is a turtle with a unicorn horn, one wearing a sheriff’s hat, and yet another one with a baby turtle on its head. Holders can be in for quite a collection when they decide to invest. Each Tropical Turtle today costs 0.035 ETH. Holders also get to own commercial rights to their turtles.
“We’re trying to get new people in our project,” the team revealed. “The floor is currently at 0.25 for a 1500 supply project, so the price could easily go up with more exposure.”
If anything, Tropical Turtles is making a significant difference not just in the investment experience of its holders but more so on the turtles that it supports.
