Erick Garcia, guitarist of the heavy metal band Nox Sinister, electrified the stage at Bobby Vs Cocktails in Anaheim on January 26th.

The night was filled with adrenaline-pumping music as Nox Sinister shared the stage with esteemed bands like Trap Maker and Anubis. According to Erick Garcia the event served as a thrilling warm-up for their upcoming show on February 24th at Sages in Santa Ana as part of the Metal Battle USA competition. “Our show at Bobby Vs Cocktails was a blast! Sharing the stage with talented friends and experimenting with new stage theatrics made it an unforgettable experience,” remarked Erick. This performance will mark a significant step for the band as they vie for a chance to play at the renowned Wacken Open Air festival in Germany, the pinnacle of metal music festivals worldwide.

The Wacken Open Air festival holds a prestigious position in the metal music scene since its inception in 1989. It is held annually on the first weekend of August in the village of Wacken in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. Almost all styles and subgenres of hard rock and metal are represented and hosted. It is now one of the largest heavy metal festivals in the world and one of the largest open-air festivals in Germany with a number of attendees of around 85,000, 75,000 Between.

Being part of the Metal Battle USA competition has fueled Nox Sinister’s enthusiasm, as they aim to deliver a captivating performance that could potentially land them a spot at Wacken. “We’re thrilled to be part of Metal Battle USA this year. We’re gearing up for an epic show, and we’re hopeful for the opportunity to grace the stage at Wacken,” said Erick.

In addition to their live performances, Nox Sinister is channeling their creative energy into crafting new material and contemplating their next album, possibly a concept album. Erick Garcia performed for the first time with Nox Sinister at the iconic Whisky a Go Go in Los Angeles, a dream for every musician. The rock and roll scene in Los Angeles was born when the Whisky started operation; because of its status as a historic music landmark Whisky a Go Go was the first ever live music venue to be inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame. “Playing at the Whisky was a dream come true for us. Opening for Last In Line, a band formed by former members of Dio’s band, added to the surreal experience,” shared Erick, reflecting on their memorable performance. The club has been the host for some of the most famous bands and artists in the world, such as Led Zeppelin, Elton John, Oasis, KISS, Guns N’ Roses, and a number of other artists.

As the thunderous drums and searing guitar riffs of Nox Sinister echo through the air, it’s clear that this heavy metal band is on a trajectory to dominate the scene. At the heart of their sonic onslaught lies the talent of guitarist Erick Garcia, whose electrifying solos and relentless energy fuel the band’s intense live shows and boundary-pushing compositions.

As Nox Sinister continues with their new music and upcoming shows, fans can anticipate exhilarating performances and groundbreaking music.
