Entrepreneurship wasn’t always in the picture for Alex Sattley. Now, everyone is inspired by the former collegiate basketball star, 28 who made the difficult transition from sports to social media. It’s possible that this is the case since athletics is seen as a profitable career, and starting off in college should prepare you for life, but Alex had other ideas and was courageous enough to go after his ambitions.
The young businessperson now owns and manages a social media company worth millions of dollars.
Alex Sattley, who was born in Los Angeles, was raised in Portland, Oregon, but he also moved about a lot as a child. Alex played professional college basketball before deciding to give up sports and focus on his passion for social media. He started his business from scratch and built it into one of the most successful firms in the nation.
Even with this much fame and wealth, the young man’s outlook on life remains unchanged. He is viewed as strong, modest, willing to take on new challenges, open to new endeavors, and constantly interested in learning new things.
He talks about a moment that changed his life when he started his company. In the sauna at a nearby gym, Alex had run into an older man with whom he struck up a conversation. The older man talked to Alex about his own life in an easygoing manner. It came out that this stranger was the owner of the top racehorse in the United States and had memorabilia worth over $30 million to prove it. For Sattley, this was a genuine discovery, but what followed was more significant. The more experienced man made his current existence manifest but also misses his younger days of lack. When he was younger and broke, he stated, “I wanted to be old and rich, but now that I’m older and rich, I wish I was young and broke.”
Alex explained that his encounter with a friend in Miami while on vacation changed things for him when asked how he wandered into social networking. When he worked at LAX in 2018, his friend showed him a few platforms, and it gave him the idea for what he does now: social media marketing.
Blessed by association, Alex had his right-hand man and Assistant Terell, move from New York to Miami to live, work and make things happen for the brand.
Alex made his fair share of blunders in his first year of business, just like every other entrepreneur. He acknowledged that making assumptions early on was one of his major blunders. Unintentionally, he had calculated that certain months have five weeks, while others have four. He mistakenly calculated a smaller sum of money for his staff as a result.
After a few disastrous purchases, he also had to learn the hard way about taxes, interest rates, and credit. He ascribes this to his weak mathematical abilities. However, Alex also discovered the value of interpersonal relationships in successful business through his mistakes. He discovered that becoming wealthy is a team effort. It is simpler to accumulate wealth the more people you have around you, but you need to always keep in mind to be present.
Since making these corrections, he has developed his company so that anyone may succeed in earning a significant income without having to promote themselves on their own platforms. His business concept enables users to maintain their privacy while developing lucrative social media businesses.
He counsels his business associates to travel frequently. He thinks that traveling exposes you to a variety of business philosophies that will keep you inspired and motivated. Today is a gift because, as they say, yesterday is history, and tomorrow is a mystery. The entrepreneur lives by the proverb “the present”
In addition to business, Sattley wants his company to support a cause that will help other young people. In order to make their late 20s easier, he wants to teach young people in their early 20s how to build a foundation for themselves in business.
What does the already successful Alex have planned for the future? He replies, “To buy ten additional homes, sustain cashflow of over $29 million.”
