Scilence is making waves throughout the LA scene this year with her sophomore album “The Solo Cup E.P”. This album will change the way you view autotune. It is truly an art-form, with the emotional growling vocal riffs and the sweet undertones, which you can almost say she flips in and out of character with.
Scilence gained popularity from association with renowned rapper Bizarre, from award winning rap group D12. He is featured on her song “Crush” which is still gaining massive popularity. If you haven’t seen the music video for “Crush”, it’s a must watch. The colors and visuals are enlightening and very much so compliment the storyline of the song.
There’s always a comical tone in Scilence’s music videos. Whether it’s something corky with Judy the blow up doll, or her red party cup theme, her music videos are bound to bring you laughter. She is an artist who doesn’t take things overly seriously, but tries to incorporate fun themes in her music as well. Another good example of this would be her newest single “Vegas”. The music video takes place at the Bellagio hotel, the vegas strip, and Palms hotel. There’s tons of comical scenes throughout “Vegas”, from Elvis being at the alter, Scilence and Judy Doll getting married, and the backwards just married sign on their car. All of this is happening while Scilence chants in her song the legendary saying “what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas”.
