In a world ravaged by the COVID-19 pandemic, many find themselves feeling worn down, depressed, and skeptical of the future. Multitalented mental health advocate Samaria Kelly is stepping up to shine a ray of light on the weary of showing that there is still hope for the future.
Samaria Kelly, a.k.a Thee Word Girl is known for her encouraging words and inspiration from the Word of God. Between her role as an evangelist and mental health advocate, she wears many hats, but her ultimate goal from each one is the same—to give someone a life-changing experience. Samaria Kelly has been through a lot in her life, surviving sexual abuse, domestic violence, and depression. Her stories preach lessons of hope, faith, and survival, which she hopes can uplift and inspire others working through dark times in their lives.
The mental health advocate is fueled by her love for her one-year-old son, whom she considers one of her biggest motivations. When her son was born, Samaria Kelly felt an indescribable push that led her to focus on making her dreams come true to give him a better life. She recently made the decision to end her career as a nurse to pursue her dream of becoming a full-time entrepreneur finally. Today, Samaria revels in the freedom that this new path in her life affords her, as she can finally get to live in her terms.
For a long time, Samaria felt a higher calling to serve others. When she finally opened herself to take the call, God chose to do it in a nontraditional way. Samaria Kelly holds many gifts: singing, songwriting, speaking, and writing, among many others. She makes use of each gift in a way that honors God and her neighbors.
Samaria Kelly has a series of releases lined up for the end of 2020, and she plans to make a lot more in the future. Her upcoming self-published book details her story on overcoming rejection and living out one’s dreams. Samaria is also planning to release her first album full of tracks that are full of inspiration and uplifting music.
Furthermore, she plans to launch her Thee Word Girl subscription service, which aims to spread the good news inspired by God’s word with messages of faith and hope and tips on mental health and tools and resources.
Samaria Kelly will also be launching her very own clothing line, Thee W.O.R.D, which stands for Win On Repeat Daily. To advance her mental health advocacy, Samaria is donating a portion of the proceeds toward the Mental Health Foundation.
Thee Word Girl is determined to brighten up people’s lives with her upbeat, loving personality. She is known by her peers as someone who is always there to offer an encouraging word. What separates her from others in her league is her authenticity, which she intends to extend to her future products and services.
In her new role as an entrepreneur, Samaria Kelly is finally making her dream of creating her own brand come true. She plans to expand her scope of influence to more platforms in the future.
