Sarah Infinger’s journey didn’t begin in the spotlight. She grew up in a small town in New Hampshire, raised by a single mother in a home filled with love and resilience. She spent years supporting her husband’s military career and working as a veterinary nurse, being the dependable friend, the helpful team member, and the one who didn’t always seek more. But beneath the surface, Sarah carried the quiet belief that she was capable of something greater. One day, that belief became too compelling to ignore.

At 371 pounds, Sarah reached her heaviest point, and what she felt was a low moment. Constantly relocating for her husband’s military career and stuck in a job with limited growth opportunities, she found herself in a cycle of quitting before real change could take root. She tried new hobbies, looked into school programs, and considered different paths, but often stopped short. As she describes it, she was “a supporting character in everyone else’s story.”

The Turning Point: Choosing Growth Over Comfort

That changed in March 2021. Sarah made a pivotal decision: to stop watching life pass her by and actively pursue her place in it. She enrolled in a mortuary science degree program, committed to transforming her health with the support of bariatric surgery, and began documenting her progress online. Her story unfolded publicly and honestly, filled with both wins and struggles. Her openness resonated with others who felt similarly stuck.

Today, Sarah is no longer on the sidelines. She has lost 210 pounds, earned her degree, and built an online coaching business, Sarah In All Sizes, that now includes a team of seven coaches. With over 1.5 million followers across social media platforms, she is empowering millions to break free from “okay” and step into the life they deserve.

Turning Pain Into Purpose

Sarah’s journey of transformation was filled with significant hurdles, each one testing her resilience. Living with PCOS, a hormonal disorder that impacts both weight and energy levels, added an extra layer of difficulty to her journey. As a military spouse, she frequently faced the challenge of starting anew in different locations, never staying in one place long enough to build consistent support systems. Amid these struggles, she experienced profound grief, first losing her brother and later a close friend, both of whom required her to plan their funerals while coping with overwhelming emotional strain. Despite these personal and emotional challenges, Sarah pushed forward, channeling her grief and perseverance into building a social media platform from the ground up and launching a business just one month before completing her college degree, proving her strength and determination in the face of adversity.

She also confronted one of the biggest obstacles of all: herself. Breaking through her own limiting beliefs was the hardest part. “You cannot change from a place of self-hatred,” Sarah says. “Only through loving yourself enough to want better.”

A Voice That Makes Change Feel Possible

What sets Sarah apart isn’t just her results. It’s her voice: honest, funny, empathetic, and deeply real. Her story isn’t one of rock bottom; it’s about not settling for a life that was simply “fine.” That message resonates with countless people who feel guilty for wanting more when things aren’t technically bad.

Sarah has been featured in Women’s Health Magazine, recognized for her grounded and motivational approach to personal growth. As a certified personal trainer and highly sought-after speaker, she continues to share her message on both large and small stages.

Looking Ahead

Sarah hopes to expand her impact through a mindset or life coaching program and, eventually, a book. She knows her greatest strength is her voice, and she’s determined to use it to help others discover their own.

“My story isn’t about hitting rock bottom,” she says. “It’s about choosing not to settle—and showing others how to do the same.”
