At a time such as this, when a global crisis is changing the way of life of communities and the world, business leaders need all the insights they can get on how to survive. Power couple Don Ortiz and Dina Preston-Ortiz are responding to the need through their book 31 Cents to 43 Countries: Hardcore Tips to Increasing Profits designed to guide leaders, managers, and business owners on how to thrive under challenging circumstances.
The award-winning leadership and entrepreneurship experts have had the rare privilege of going on 26 world tours in 43 different countries while serving the United States Department of Defense Armed Forces Entertainment overseas program. As leaders of the Dina Preston Band, they have performed and presented lectures on business topics in support of President Obama’s statecraft initiative for various U.S. Embassies around the globe. Despite their busy schedule, the power couple managed to grow their own initiatives in the meetings and events industry while serving the U.S. State Department and performing for Fortune 500 companies.
Having seen most of the world in various states, Don and Dina have powerful insights and testimonies where governance and effective business practices in other cultures are concerned. One of their primary goals in writing the book is to raise the next generation of leaders who will thrive, most especially during times of crisis, such as the one the world is currently facing. The book teaches leaders how to optimize resources, find their way around precarious work environments, and maintain a work-life balance that will not compromise the profitability of the business.
The dynamic duo has received the United Nations Protection Force and U.S. Task Force Provide Promise Distinguished Service Certificate in support of the United Nations Protection Force Peacekeeping Operations in the Republic of Croatia.
