Latina and Colombian born, Stella Vidal firmly believes that human beings are multifaceted. Much of that belief is in full display with her many successful careers. Stella fully embodies what it means to be a multifaceted individual, as she has done amazing work in the fields of mental health and wellness, the real estate industry, and the modeling industry. Not to mention that Stella is an artist and a published author who utilizes her creativity to approach the mental health issues of her clients.
She has always been a trailblazer in her own right, and Stella has never liked to follow the rules of society. Stella Vidal doesn’t believe in what is and what isn’t possible. She is a strong-willed individual who presses on when the going gets tough. After working for over a decade as a therapist and social worker, she decided to broaden her horizons by diving into the Real Estate industry.
Not only did she become a licensed mortgage broker in 2002, but she also purchased her very own mortgage company with her husband in 2006. Their business saw some success and started skyrocketing, but when the 2008 recession ravaged the United States, Stella Vidal lost her business and had to start over. With their business closing down, Stella started looking at immediate employment, but there were no jobs to be found.
One fateful day, she was sitting in front of the computer crying when her 9-year-old son came to her and told her that she was beautiful and that she should become a model instead. Stella took a moment to consider the idea and then dove right into it. Stella started modeling and acting in both Latin and English-speaking television.
Stella Vidal appeared thrice in the most famous Latin television show in the world, Sabados Gigantes as a model and dancer. Within a year, Stella was published in several fitness magazines such as MMA Sports, Fighters Only Magazine, Bachelor Magazine, and many more. Her television career started taking off as she appeared as a regular on Telemundo and became a local reporter for CBS 4, featuring celebrities such as the Golden Globetrotters. She then decided that she wanted to write her own television show.
She noticed that many of the local Miami businesses were suffering from the 2008 recession. So with the eyes of a model and therapist, she wrote an entertainment television pilot called Livin’ La Vida Miami, where she would showcase local businesses that would provide entertainment, fitness, talent, and charity to the Miami community.
Within six months of writing the pilot, Stella was starring in her own television show. The show was filmed and began running on local television by marketing campaigns conducted by her one-man team. Livin’ La Vida Miami gained a large following within a year. So along with her husband, Stuart, they secured a sponsorship for the second season. It was there and then when Livin’ La Vida with Stella and Stuart started running weekly on CBS and its affiliate My33.
The concept then grew into an entertainment and traveling show after the first year, featuring people and businesses in other US cities such as St. Augustine and Myrtle Beach. The show even shot internationally and traveled to Stella Vidal’s home country, Colombia—resulting in the two most exciting shows of the season. The show reached national syndication, however, Stella walked away from fame because her 9-year-old young son needed her closer to home. Stella eventually went back full time into her Mental Health and Wellness career and focused on family.
Stella Vidal is a testament that people are indeed multifaceted, finding creative ways to address life challenges. Stella practices what she preaches, never giving up and always looking for the silver lining. She was able to establish all her successes without ever compromising who she is as a person. That is what truly makes Stella special, and it is the real secret to all her unbridled success.
