While musicians are in the spotlight of the music industry, there would be no industry without those working behind-the-scenes. Musicians have better chances of success when backed by a competent record label. Stryker Records, owned by Chris Dobry, has an excellent track record promotion, management, and release of music and music-related events globally.
Jaime Fontaine & the Level are only some of the many artists signed under Stryker. In collaboration with Holly Hutchison of AnRGirl, Chris worked hard to get the band as far as they could go. To this effort, he enlisted producers Jason Schrick of JPS Productions and Malcolm Springer at the Universal Studios in Nashville.
As a result, Save Your Life was the track that shot the group right up to fame, as it rocketed up the charts in secondary and tertiary rock markets. The track went up to #20 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock indicator and #7 on the Concrete/Foundations Chart. It introduced itself to the world by challenging releases by established artists.
This group’s success is a prime example of what a competent record label can bring a talented set of musicians. With a genuine interest and involvement in the growth of their signed artists, the company puts its best effort into bringing its artists to benefit from its wide variety of music services and its extensive network of partners in the music industry. As a significant music events organizer, Stryker Records’ signed artists also get the privilege of performing in its live shows and concerts.
Chris Dobry promotes live concerts, manages artists, and releases global-quality music through Stryker Records. His path towards becoming the proprietor of a record company was a long time in the making. He fell in love with music in high school, became part of the organizing team in charge of the school’s battle of the bands, and several years later, in 1997, decided to put together a show in his hometown of Green Bay, Wisconsin.
Securing an interview with the local CBS station on the same night at the Grammy’s brought a large amount of attention to the event. The event would later generate enough funds to launch the label, which he later moved to Detroit, Michigan. Working with Euphoria Productions, he was responsible for several large events featuring A-list country artists, including Merle Haggard and John Anderson.
As a music events organizing team, Stryker Records is a reflection of Chris Dobry’s preferences as a musician. As far as events and artists affiliated with the label, there is a diverse range of rock, country, and hip-hop, which Chris has a great love for.
The record label continues to grow both in size and its influence. Each event features various gold and platinum recording artists and other artists all over the midwest. Their artists record in world-class studios, including Universal Studios in Nashville and Sunshine Studios in Colorado Springs. The list of exceptionally talented artists signed with the label keeps getting longer.Find out more about Chris Dobry and Stryker Records by following them on Instagram and Facebook.
