Olga: Firstly, I recommend incorporating antioxidant-rich serums into your skincare routine to combat free radical damage from the sun. Exfoliating regularly to remove dead skin cells and using hydrating masks can also help keep your skin looking fresh and radiant. Additionally, remember to adjust your skincare routine to suit changing weather conditions. Lighter moisturizers and serums can be more suitable during summer than heavier creams.

Interviewer: For those looking to care for their skin between salon visits, what tips do you have for at-home maintenance, particularly for the legs, arms, and face?

Olga: Between salon visits, it’s essential to maintain a consistent skincare routine at home. For the legs and arms, regularly exfoliating can help prevent ingrown hairs and keep the skin smooth. Applying a hydrating body lotion after showering can also help lock in moisture. For the face, cleansing twice daily, using a toner to balance the skin’s pH, and applying a suitable moisturizer are key steps. Adding a weekly face mask targeted to your skin concerns can also provide a rejuvenating boost.

For those with permanent makeup on their eyebrows and lips, it’s crucial to protect them with sunscreen to prevent fading. Sun exposure can cause permanent makeup to fade faster, so be sure to apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen over these areas to maintain their color and shape.
