The Bridal Retreat is a first in the industry. After seeing that no one else was offering a holistic solution to ease the stress of upcoming brides, founder and CCO Kristin Sullivan created one herself. The Bridal Retreat formulated the perfect recipe for a healthy, happy, and stress-free planning experience for newly engaged couples. Kristin effortlessly married wedding planning to wellness.
The company boasts of its yoga and meditation retreats, weight loss programs, effective life coaching, and professional wedding planners. Kristin has rallied four amazing women to be with her on the mission to help brides achieve their dream wedding. Her soul sisters, much like herself, have hearts of gold and a genuine passion for helping others.
Among her fantastic team is Laura Brownwood, who is an expert on nutrition and joy consultancy. Yoga guru and meditation master Kathryn McCann is also on the team. Another is Erin Leon, a.k.a. The Numbers Ninja, who shares her years of experience in the hospitality industry in managing contract negotiation and budgets. Lastly is the author and lifestyle advisor, Erin Washington. She shares how to achieve balance, living your best lifestyle, and uncovering one’s best self.
The Bridal Retreat is a life-changing experience. After receiving expert assistance from Kristin and her amazing team, brides are equipped with tools that will last a lifetime. Kristin believes the retreat pairs perfectly with the engagement ring. The Bridal Retreat is perhaps one of the most practical and helpful gifts any bride can have.
Kristin has over 25 years of experience in executing memorable celebrations. She is dubbed as the chief celebration officer. Kristin is best known for her calm demeanor, down-to-earth attitude, ingenious ideas, and her ability to bring any vision to life.
When Kristin began her career over two decades ago, clients quickly noticed her creativity and flair for group travel surrounding special occasions. She is an esteemed expert destination planner from Swivel Group Events. Kristin and her team have designed unforgettable weddings, milestone birthdays, anniversaries, and corporate VIP events for thousands of clients. Among her impressive clientele are Jaguar, Land Rover, Collier Enterprises and the World Paddle Association. One of Kristin’s most recent ventures is creating an intimate bed & breakfast for couples to escape to and plan with her in Florida for a “planningmoon.”
On top of her career in event planning, Kristin is also the host of Leftovercakechat on Facebook. She does the show every Sunday morning, broadcasting from her mobile vintage camper office while eating cake and drinking champagne. Kristin passionately chats everything about weddings, sometimes while still wearing her pajamas.
Kristin has been quoted on People.com and has been featured in several magazines. One of the weddings Kristin executed was featured on ABC Primetime and made waves to a national audience.
The expert event planner is currently working on her custom wedding journal and a personalized industry toolbag. The products aim to make the lives of her clients and fellow planners like herself much more comfortable during events. A portion of the proceeds from her merchandise will be donated to The Chapel of Honor, a project dear to Kristin’s heart as it donates weddings to veterans.
Kristin is someone who listens to what the clients want and fully delivers what they deserve on such a special day. “I was a bride who had a wedding day from hell,” Kristin recalled. From that day on, she vowed that no other bride should have to endure and go through the things she went through. On perhaps one of the most important days in a person’s life, brides deserve to enjoy their moment. They also should enjoy the journey up to that day.
Many relationships suffer in turmoil over small and silly things that could go wrong in the planning phase. Either because of family dynamics, the no-show venue coordinator, the wrong flowers, or the unexpected factors in the wedding venue, every little detail needs to be perfect, according to Kristin. At the end of the day, a well-planned wedding will set the tone for healthy relationships for years to come. Learn more about The Bridal Retreat through their website.
