Technology advancement has made it apparent just how impactful social media can be. Several issues around the world have sparked conversations via Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, and other platforms. In a way, social media can raise awareness and promote accountability.
However, the media can also be vulnerable to information overload that can lead to the point where content no longer becomes meaningful. Taking notice of the industry’s waning substantiality, Zack Deminno took it upon himself to create another platform where the genuineness of content is being preserved.
At one point in his life, Zack had flat-out hit rock bottom, and it disempowered him of toxic patterns and behaviors that were steering him off course. One thing that got him out of that dark place was using an outlet for everything he bottled inside. And knowing how hard it can be to move forward with pent up emotions, Zack wishes to provide an avenue where struggling individuals can air out just about anything.
As he was going through the media, he noticed how interviews that are initially intended to be heartfelt conversations often got cut short due to time constraints. To Zack, this poses a problem because it inhibits free-flowing streams of thoughts and emotions. And because he wanted to set a precedent that normalizes deep conversations, he started a platform geared towards creating a meaningful impact.
Zack DeMinno created The Impact Studio out of the urge to provide people a fresh way of consuming media. It started out as a podcast where people engage in real and unfiltered conversations. It is also a ground for catalysts to share their stories of both triumphs and defeat in hopes of inspiring others who share the same experiences.
The Impact Studio gathers people from all over the world who are driven to create ripples of changes that can transcend any adversity. These changemakers are people from the All Things Good Co Community who have contributed incredible things to the society.
To improve its engagement with its audience, The Impact Studio decided to put a different spin on the interaction by turning the podcast into a successful Instagram Live Series hosted by All Things Good News. And to make sure that no one misses out on any of its episodes, All Things Good News saves the live episodes in its IGTV and publishes them on its main feed.
Some notable people that Zack has talked to are Taylor Bouchard, the founder of Ducklings Travel. She is a nineteen-year-old who had to travel from Florida to Colorado fifteen times for her treatment for AVM. Through The Impact Studio, Taylor was able to share the awakenings and revelations she experienced during her travels. These realizations drove her to build a foundation that supports patients as they travel by funding for them.
Other inspirational personalities have also joined The Impact Studio’s talks, and one of them is Kylee McGrane, the founder of A Moment of Magic. This organization focuses on the welfare of children in hospitals and entertains young ones by dressing up as Disney Princesses. Also participating in the conversation are Howard Taylor, the executive director of UNICEF’s End Violence Against Children, and Kellen Brewer, a student activation leader of the Thirst Project.
With what the world is currently facing, it is evident how enlightening conversations like in The Impact Studio are what the people need, especially during these trying times.
