Torland Greene Jr. Passionately Promotes Streetwear as a Sub Genre of Fashion

Fashion is a fluid industry that is ever-changing and constantly evolving. Designers tap into different kinds of inspiration for their works, creating a distinction for themselves. Over the past few years, consumers have seen bold changes in fashion that are sometimes too bold for an average person’s taste. When it comes to emerging ideas in fashion, Torland Greene Jr. is a remarkable creative, and he is revolutionizing the industry by promoting streetwear as a subgenre of fashion.

The 34-year-old trendsetter from Virginia leads independent creatives in his area of expertise, which is establishing collaborations in order to achieve more in a short period of time. He is also extremely gifted when it comes to organizing events. In fact, he was able to successfully bring together various creatives for a three-day event in the Fall 2022 New York Fashion Week.

Verdict Still Out of Atlanta, Somewhere Doing Something of Virginia, and Very Rare 2 Find of Cincinnati, OH, were the big brands that Torland was able to pull together to work for a common goal that champions a unique perspective in the Streetwear Fashion and Art Industry. “Over the three days, special guests like Wavey’s World, IG influencer with over a million followers in attendance, along with Spider-Cuz, DJ Zum, and Visual Artist Uncle Ralf, who were in town for the fashion events, contributed to making some dope vibes,” Torland shared.

As a visionary creator and designer, Torland sees the bigger picture and is committed to uniting different brands in order to create and make some noise for streetwear. Some of the streetwear items in place on the Visionary Trade Union website include shirts and hoodies. The brands are expected to release more designs in the next few weeks, which are considered underground streetwear.

Torland is appealing to consumers to also support the businesses of small entrepreneurs in the streetwear sector so that they, too, will survive the challenges of the times. “Make sure you support the culture of streetwear and not just the big brands that come and go into the subgenre of fashion. Indie brands are really pouring their all into the culture,” he explained.

The thriving creative has high hopes for the future of streetwear in general, as fashion will always make room for unconventional things. In the next five years, he sees himself establishing a flagship store. Apart from growing his streetwear brand, he also looks forward to doing more collaborations with other groups for Indie brands.

Torland’s gift of uniting business owners for a common objective is something that is unique only to him among many creatives. He always emphasizes the value of working collaboratively and not against each other despite being competitors. Seeing that they are stronger together, the group can be expected to continue to achieve great feats.

As Torland and the rest of his companions continue to give their niche market something to look forward to, there is no doubt that streetwear will eventually be recognized as a subgenre of fashion.
