Bruno Meyer Simoes has had an illustrious career marked by numerous achievements. His journey began in Brazil, where he demonstrated exceptional skill and passion for soccer from a young age. His early accomplishments include representing the Brazil National Team U13 in 2002 and playing for Gremio Recreativo Barueri from 2002 to 2006. During his tenure at Gremio Recreativo Barueri, Bruno’s talent shone brightly, securing several significant titles, including three State Cup championships from 2004 to 2006 and a National Championship in 2006.

Bruno’s professional journey took him across various continents, showcasing his adaptability and skill. His early professional years were spent with Gremio Recreativo Santana de Parnaiba in Brazil from 2007 to 2009. He then made his mark on the U.S. soccer scene with the Tulsa Revolution from 2014 to 2015 and further solidified his reputation by representing Brazil’s Minifootball National Team in 2016. Bruno continued to build his career in the USA with Ontario Fury during the 2016/2017 season, gained European experience with FCA Darmstadt in Germany in 2018, and concluded his professional playing career with Lions United F.C. in the USA in 2021.

After retiring from professional play, Bruno transitioned into coaching, channeling his experience and passion into nurturing young talents. His coaching career, primarily based with Tudela FC LA, has been marked by notable achievements. As an assistant coach, he guided the U16 team to a State Cup victory in 2021 and the U17 team to a State Cup victory in 2022. In his first year as head coach, he led the U8 team to a State Cup championship in 2024 and the U14 team to a second-place finish in the same year. This team is also going to the US Club National Cup in Denver, CO, in July 2024, with Bruno leading the team. 

Bruno’s coaching philosophy emphasizes technical skills, tactical awareness, and innovative training methods, drawing from his extensive playing experience. He specializes in passing, dribbling, positional play, possession, and 1v1 situations, all of which are critical in modern soccer. His unique drills and approaches to training are designed to enhance players’ technical abilities and make them more versatile on the field.
