Fighting cancer, one of the most common enemies of humans today, is an arduous journey. Beyond the physical, the disease brings an emotional battle anyone would be drained to face. On a mission to ease the pain cancer patients feel, Kisha Chase built Triple Negative Won’t Win, a company dedicated to helping patients and survivors feel confident like the strong people they truly are.

Kisha Chase, founder and CEO of Triple Negative Won’t Win, is a six-year triple negative breast cancer survivor. Among her challenges while battling the disease was keeping her self-confidence. She was diagnosed in 2015 after noticing a knot under her arm and urging her doctor to conduct a mammogram and a biopsy, knowing how susceptible her family line is to cancer. Her mother and grandmother both lost their battles to the disease.

Later on, Kisha found out that she had triple negative breast cancer, a distinct kind merging the dangers of a tumor containing estrogen receptor-negative, progesterone receptor-negative, and HER2-negative. Kisha shared that it was a very aggressive kind of cancer, one that has to be detected early and nipped directly in the bud to stop it from completely destroying the body.

Kisha went through treatments, as suggested by her doctor. But as she progressed into chemotherapy, Kisha began losing her hair, taking away her self-esteem and adding to the baggage she was already carrying on her shoulders. Since then, her life was never the same, but Kisha decided to turn her bad circumstances into a good cause. Triple Negative Won’t Win began as a non-profit organization, helping cancer patients and their families with basic necessities such as clothing, food utilities, wigs, and funds.

Later on, Kisha wanted to do something for the collective she has formed through the organization. Today, Triple Negative Won’t Win carries its line of hair products to help patients grow beautiful and healthy hair. Kisha aims to boost the confidence of her clients, as she knows how they’re feeling everything they look at themselves in a mirror, being in their shoes before. Surviving triple negative breast cancer gave Kisha a deeper purpose to uplift others suffering the same circumstances.

Triple Negative Won’t Win is best known for its growth oil, promoting fast growth, leading to faster confidence recovery. Beyond vanity, the company aims to be reliable in changing the way cancer patients and survivors view themselves. “Fighting consist of many things from what you eat to the daily products you use for your body to what you allow in your space that could disturb your peace,” said the CEO. Through hair products, the company is providing a tool for every patient to continue fighting.

Additionally, Kisha wanted to create an all-natural solution, seeing how existing products were not tailored for cancer patients and survivors. Triple Negative Won’t Win is made specifically for patients, knowing what the hair can do for their emotional and mental health.

On top of that, Triple Negative Won’t Win is a platform for Kisha to raise more awareness on different types of cancers, seeing how society knows about it only at the surface level. She aims to amplify the importance of advocating for oneself and self-diagnosis for early detection.
