Having a grandfather who performed with and played the piano as one of the “Four Keys” for the legendary singer Ella Fitzgerald is not enough for Troubled Conscience. He wants more, and he’s working hard to get it. Troubled Conscience is a 22-year-old rapper, R&B artist, pop, and gospel rap singer. He is also a songwriter, alternative artist, and creative director. He’s a man with many coats who does excellently well in every genre of music that he chooses to perform.
Troubled Conscience has been creating music from the age of 14, and now he has his sights set on reaching the top in the music scene. He comes from a low-income background in Renton, Washington, but his passion for creating music trumps every obstacle or odds that may have been stacked against him at any point in his life. His grandfather’s affiliation with music also played a role in his love for music, but Troubled Conscience wants to be the star.
Based in Seattle, Washington, Troubled Conscience has never been as passionate about anything as he is with music. “I am hungry for success, and I believe in quantity over quality. That’s why I have paid utmost attention to the quality of music I create and release. I am here to stay and win and will do whatever it takes without losing my morals,” he says. Troubled Conscience targets music managers, A&RS, teenagers, and other people who enjoy modern and fun music.
Many musical artists have influenced Troubled Conscience’s sound over the years. He has also drawn inspiration from artists like Drake, PartyNextDoor, Tory Lanez, Bryson Tiller, Johnny Rain, and The Weekend. He aims to get to the level these artists have gotten to or even surpass them. Achieving success as a musician is the most paramount thing to him, and he doesn’t mind what it takes. “I’m willing to go broke and dedicate time and resources to reach my goals. With Jesus on my side, I’m confident my dream will come to pass.’
Success in music for Troubled Conscience means being a music icon worldwide and living off music comfortably for the rest of his life. While he enjoys making music, Troubled Conscience never shies away from the fact that he’s pursuing commercial success and looks forward to living the luxurious life of a successful music star. When he began to build his brand as an artist, Troubled Conscience wanted to create music, build a successful brand, and retain full ownership of his brand. Almost a decade later, he’s still on that path and is not ready to relinquish any part of his essence as an artist or entity to anyone. In his words, “The only way to become truly successful is to have ownership of whatever you’re doing.” He also applied this mantra to every move or action he takes. He makes sure he never does something he wouldn’t be proud of or be able to defend.
As he keeps growing his brand, Troubled Conscience’s foreseeable goal for the next five years is to achieve the dreams he has presently. Although he has handed over all his plans and dreams to God, he still believes that his heart’s desires will come to pass in five years.
