We are often told the popular saying, “A jack off all trades is a master of none,” as a deterrent from doing too many things at once. Now and again, someone emerges to challenge that statement – people who seem to exist in many lives simultaneously. Such people elect to make a tapestry of their many skills rather than settling for one thing at a time. Enter the young talent, BUVL.

Chandler “Buvl” Cadman is a musician from Atlanta and a college student at Wake Forest University. He grew up in the suburbs outside of Atlanta and has been obsessed with rap music right from his early years. At age 11, his love for music was so great that he spent weeks mowing lawns just to save up enough money to purchase a pair of Beats Pro headphones. There weren’t many kids his age in the neighborhood he grew up in, so Buvl spent most of his spare time writing music and playing Call of Duty with friends from school. In his sophomore year in college, it was in the course of gaming that he came across the number 1 player in the free-to-play Battle Royale shooter game, Apex Legends, and thereafter, they became fast friends. As time went on, both friends decided to create a gaming company and competitive team called iQ.

Buvl had always been aware of an exceptional streak that he possessed. Academics and learning seemed all too easy for him to grasp, so instead, he busied his mind with other interests. Most days, he would sit in class with headphones on, simply listening to music. He would finally decide what he wanted to do as a career when he got into high school, and he settled on becoming a musical artist.

He has worked with several Grammy-winning producers and done a couple of songs and music videos with fast-rising artists in Atlanta, Miami, and Detroit. He writes his own music and has directed and filmed some of his own music videos. His musical style is a blend of lyricism combined with autotune to create a unique sound.

His gaming team, iQ, currently includes two of the top players of Apex Legends in the world and also the popular TikTok personality Hann Hawkinz.

Buvl is a tremendously hard worker. Presently, he juggles music, school, and running a business. He works on music for about 4 to 5 hours a day while studying extensively for his schoolwork in a university that is cited to be one of the most intense in the nation. On top of that, he still finds the time for competitive gaming at the highest level, with and against some of the best players in the world.

Buvl aims to be an artist that folks, especially those in their teenage years and young adults, can truly relate to. It’s his dream to create a sound that is both a vehicle to their emotions and unique to their generation. He dreams of touring the country and maybe even the world at some point. He also intends to bring his company to the forefront of online gaming, influencing and connecting fellow kindred spirits from all over the world.

It is not often that one finds someone who seeks to combine all these things. However, Buvl appears to be just the right mix of talent, passion, and the drive to make this vision a spectacular reality.
