Hailing from Appleton, Wisconsin, David Schroeder has had his fair share of struggles most of his early life. Born with ADHD, a condition that manifests extreme amounts of excess energy, David spent most of his childhood and early adulthood suffering from this misfortune. Because of the surplus energy, David was prescribed Ritalin to cope with his hyperactivity. Despite being under a medical stimulant, David still suffered persistent bursts of energy. The overwhelmingly impulses to be overactive led David to suffer many injuries along the way, which resulted in a life entangled with the whims and caprices of chronic pain.
Undaunted, David set out to find a remedy for his long-standing discomfort. To David, his misfortunes should not dictate how his life should be lived. So instead of succumbing to his circumstance, David tried a myriad of medications. But to his dismay, they either didn’t work or provided very little relief from his pain.
