Vanessa Silberman, a multi-talented and tenacious Singer, Songwriter, Musician, part of the alt pop duo Lovecolor and Record Producer from Brooklyn, New York, has been a vibrant beacon in the music industry. A steadfast advocate of positive messages, through music and also uplifting other artists and women. Her remarkable chain of achievements stretches from running an Artist Development Record Label to shining brightly on various stages as a vibrant performer and Recording.

Silberman, effortlessly traversing the terrains of the artist and business worlds, has carved an honorable niche for herself in the music landscape. She established an Artist Development Record Label called A Diamond Heart Production in 2013 and launched it a year later. Over time, her catalog grew, encompassing an impressive variety of over 85 releases from diverse artists. Her label, expanding under her watchful eyes, includes five sub-labels and has forged several key label/studio collaborations (most recently with Brooklyn, NY Studio La Fam Recordings and Jasno Swarez). Alternative Press Magazine crowned her endeavors in June 2021 by naming her and her label as one among “11 LGBTQIA+ And Women-Owned Labels That Are Changing The Music Industry.”

Silberman’s multifaceted success story extends beyond her label’s achievements. Recognized for a strong DIY ethic and an extensive music background, she prospered by embracing various roles in the music business. Her career highlights stemming from collaborations and contributions with industry heavyweights are manifold. Early on in her career, Silberman worked for prominent figures such as Producer and Songwriter Dr.Luke as a personal assistant and respected companies like Epitaph Records doing internet marketing.

Silberman’s studio prowess is evident through her engineering work for reputable artists like Tony Visconti, Kimbra, Jello Biafra, and Harper Simon. Her trained skill with the 8028 Sound City Neve at Studio 606 (the Foo Fighters Studio in Los Angeles, CA) culminated during her time as 606’s in-house assistant engineer working under Producer John ‘Lou’ Lousteau and working with inspiring performers such as The Kills, Joan Jett, Foo Fighters, Blue Traveler, and James Williamson.



As an artist, Silberman has been utterly ubiquitous. From 2015-2020, she toured relentlessly under her name, performing and booking over 800 shows across the U.S, the U.K, and Europe. Audiofemme.com rightly named this tirelessly touring singer and guitarist as one of the hardest working bands of 2017, 2018, and 2019.

Silberman’s soaring status as a solo artist has enabled her to play at grand events, festivals, and stages, like the Vans Warped Tour, SXSW, and Apple Union Square. Collaborating with a range of notable artists, she has also opened for Alkaline Trio and R.Ring.

Silberman’s engagement with the music community extends beyond performing and producing. Hosting, moderating, and speaking at numerous panels and events, including the Artist Series with Today at Apple and Girl Power! At The Music Conference, she has tapped into her experience and expertise to enlighten aspiring musicians. In 2022, she stepped into a new realm as part of the alternative pop duo Lovecolor with actor and musician Ryan Carnes.
