Botha served as an engineer and co-producer for artists such as Arcangel, Don Dinero, Mr. Phillip, JoJo Simons, and Alarabeya’G, Osmani Garcia, Chocolate, Japanese, Latin Fresh further honing his skills and expanding his network.
During this time, Botha also created a Mixtape called “Miami Dance Hall Mixtape 2016.” This project involved collaborating with various independent artists from Miami, FL, and focusing on Latin Dance and Reggaeton music. Through his work, Botha sought to revive the raggamuffin style merged with a mix of samples reminiscent of the 110 reggae that thrived in Panama during the 90s.
In 2020, Bothagry began working as an independent agent with DiBokz Records (McFlekz), a move that provided him with more creative freedom and opportunities to explore his unique musical style. He has released his latest single, “Easy,” a 100% Spanish reggae track that draws inspiration from the raggamuffin style and combines it with elements from Panama’s music scene in the 90s.
