California’s Tax Hikes Affecting Business All the Way to Florida

No matter what side of any fence you’re on, you have to admit that California has been pushing out some pretty radical policies. In fact, there’s no doubt that many of these policies are the reason California lost .8% of its population in 2021. You’d think the powers that be would notice something amiss, but, rather than evaluate and rethink, they’re simply blazing forward, seemingly oblivious to the fact that they’re losing the one thing that brings the government revenue: population. Thanks to some recent amendments that will see taxes nearly doubled for most people, it seems that the number of citizens running for the hills may be even higher in 2022.

California isn’t the only state with exceptionally high tax rates, but it’s definitely hovering high on the list, and the proposed changes may put it at the top. With residents and business owners already financially strapped, many have already seen the only way to get ahead is to get out, and it only makes sense to think this will continue.

But let’s point something out here: these people aren’t just walking off a corner of the earth. When you’re finally ready to make a big relocation, you choose your destination wisely. You look at your options, and think, “If I could pick any of these places, where would it be?”

As it turns out, many have thought long and hard, and decided the place to be is Florida. And it’s not hard to see why. From the climate to the beaches, to the scenery and lifestyle, Florida has something to offer to anyone, and sometimes it seems like everyone is realizing it.

This is no secret to real estate agents in Florida. In fact, Sunshine State Realtors like Kevin Kellogg have seen the demand for their services nearly double since 2020 as nearly 1000 people move there per day. Although Californians contribute to this number, places like New York, Boston, and Chicago are also seeing their residents leave for the sun and sand of Florida. Owner of Logical Choice Realty Group, Kevin Kellogg is no stranger to busy days and long weeks, and he’s proved himself over and over to be up to any challenge. With this influx of population, Kevin has found himself busier than ever, and that’s not a problem for him. He spent a large part of his life managing department and electronics stores, and retired from them only after leaving a lasting impression of diligent care and exceptional planning abilities. With a list of other qualities just like these, Kevin doesn’t find himself overrun by the volume of new clientele, he revels in it. The ability to help these families relocate and start a new life provides him a satisfaction that goes beyond real estate, as it allows him to be a part of their lives in a special way. Scores of new clients and repeat customers have found that Kevin Kellogg is more than up to the task of finding them the perfect home in the perfect location. And he is definitely qualified to do just that. After all, as a best-selling author, Kevin Kellogg literally wrote the book on it.

It’s hard to say what’s in the future for Californians who decide to hold out and see how it goes, but for those who’ve already decided to make the leap to mild temperatures and beautiful beaches, Kevin Kellogg and the Logical Choice Realty Group are already planning to make their transition seamless and successful.
