GriffPX Speeds Onward to His Success, Gearing Up For His New Album, “Rush”

Sometimes, life can happen so fast that most people don’t even realize what’s going on at an exact moment. Such a phenomenon has happened to the talented musician, Justin Griffin more famously known as GriffPX, in the music industry. As an artist, he has been living life on the fast lane, and he has shown no intentions of slowing down.

At 21 years old, the rising music artist and songwriter GriffPX has been making waves in the music industry. Recently, he has gained the inspiration to name his new album Rush in hopes of encapsulating how fast he has garnered success and how everything to him just felt like an instant urge to make things happen.

GriffPX has been incredibly amazed at how quickly he has gained a massive following, citing that he is incredibly grateful for the opportunity to show his fans what he’s made of. “It’s at a time in my life where everything is happening so fast. I literally have fans now, which is crazy, labels reaching out, A&Rs, and even the social media trolls on Instagram have grown a certain type of fondness,” explains GriffPX.

He firmly knows that much of the things that he is experiencing now come with the territory of being a musical artist. “Everything just happened so fast to where it kinda looks rushed,” muses GriffPX. “It’s been a long road here, and it’s not even the end of the road. I’m just getting started,” he adds.

GriffPX has a unique and innovative sound that is absolutely incomparable in the modern music landscape. He draws a lot of inspiration from all of his idols’ past classics, developing his own sound based on what he grew up listening to. He always pays homage to the artists that have birthed his style, such as Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, and Drake. “I wouldn’t even have the motive to make music if I didn’t grow up on these three,” says GriffPX.

The talented rising artist firmly believes that there is no age gap when it comes to music. As long as his songs resonate with an audience, he doesn’t see the significance of having a certain filter. He knows that his music is for everyone from different walks of life, and he just continues to make music to a diverse audience without ever thinking of a target demographic.

His latest album, Rush, is set to release this coming May 20, 2021, on his birthday. This project will serve as GriffPX’s unadulterated debut in the music scene, so he preferred not to have any features and just kept it like it is.

“One of the people who really motivated me in creating this project is Stat Quo from Lyrical Lemonade,” shares GriffPX. “He’s been in the game forever and he used to be signed to Dr Dre. He works behind the scenes of everything in the industry.” GriffPX narrates that during a time when he was at a super low creating the album, he remembers him saying “Don’t rush greatness,” therefore naming the album “Rush” and he knew straight away it’s going to be a classic.

In the near future, GriffPX dreams big, hoping to get at least a couple of Grammys and own a mansion in Calabasas right next to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. Right now, he just wishes that his brand-new album will inspire his audience. “As long as I touched your heart, I’m fine with it,” says GriffPX so eloquently.
