Harry Shasho Overcomes Life’s Biggest Challenges to Become Owner of a Popular Auto Customization Shop

Harry Shasho’s journey to success is a story of survival and grit. Becoming the owner of New York City’s most prominent automotive customization shop and becoming a top customer at Ferrari and Lamborghini did not come easy. Just like many entrepreneurs like him, he had his share of discouragements and setbacks. There were many obstacles and roadblocks that he had to overcome. His rags to riches story begins in the Brooklyn neighborhood of Bensonhurst, where he learned never to give up too easily on his dreams.

Growing up, Harry Shasho had to constantly deal with bullying, a violent neighborhood, and tough times at home. “When I was young, I grew up in a very tough neighborhood with hard circumstances,” said the entrepreneur and super car connoisseur.

Best known for being a positive person, Harry Shasho used this hardship as fuel to propel himself forward. Times did not get easier, however, as his parents divorced and both tragically passed away when he was in his twenties. From that point on, Harry knew that he was on his own and only he could lay a pathway for his own success. The road from a young boy with a broken home to a titan in the car customization industry would not be easy for sure, but it did not discourage him from pursuing his ultimate goal in life. Without a cushion to fall back on, without a support system to cheer him on, an inspirational journey began to unfold.

Harry Shasho initially began his entrepreneurial journey in the computer retail business. In the late ’90s, however, the industry crashed. The one thing that pulled Harry Shasho from this mess of financial ruin was his love for cars. Even in his darkest days, his passion for cars brought some light and hope into his life. “I walked miles each day with the little money I had saved up just to buy car magazines,” Harry recalled.

He began to learn all he could about cars and the industry, dedicating his life to knowing the ins and outs of the trade. He did not skip a beat, delving into all aspects of the industry, from insurance to collision repair and beyond. Using his incredible work ethics and vision, Harry would work tirelessly to turn his passion into a striking career.

Several decades later, Harry Shasho is the owner of one of New York’s finest auto customization shops, 212 Motoring, where his team works on some of the most exotic cars in the market today. He was a long way from the young man he once was, lost, heartbroken, and struggling to make ends meet.

212 Motoring provides a plethora of car customization services including window tinting, remote start, custom painting, and other vehicle upgrades. The service provided at 212 has attracted many celebrities and athletes, including Chris Brown and Vince Carter. Even the NYPD and Homeland Security have sought out 212 Motoring to provide vehicle customization services for their fleet. Passing by 212 Motoring on any given day, you will surely see a wide variety of luxury cars and sports cars out front.

Harry Shasho’s love for cars has of course found its way into his personal life. Through his successful entrepreneurial pursuits, Harry has become a loyal and top customer at brands like Ferrari and Lamborghini. Over time, he was able to build a collection of over 20 luxury cars, including several super cars. This outstanding assemblage of vehicles serves as a trophy and testament to his rise from nothing to something. His passion for motoring does not stop on the ground. In fact, Harry is an experienced pilot.

At this point in his life Harry Shasho continues to look into the future, always chasing the next entrepreneurial pursuit. Real estate has become a passion for him as well as he flips houses throughout the five boroughs. He hopes that his journey serves to inspire those who may think they have no future. He never lets his surroundings bring him down. Instead, Harry Shasho rose up, living the true American dream so that others may draw inspiration from it. Learn more about Harry Shasho by following 212 Motoring on Facebook.
