Entrepreneur Daniel Brown recalls how he would have to pause before jumping in to join the fun and switch his shoes to keep them from breaking. This hobby proved to foreshadow his venture into the shoe business with his brand, Achieve Greatness.
Daniel Brown is an individual with an athletic background. He is an avid fan of basketball and plays whenever he has the time. Brown also loves the outdoors. On a typical day out, he carries around a bag with him everywhere he goes. The bag contains two to three different types of shoes to stay prepared, just in case he gets to play basketball or other activities.
Aside from sports, he is passionate about fashion. Brown would imitate his idols from basketball during his athletic days, who often dressed fashionably on their days outside the court. However, he found that carrying around a bag was troublesome. Growing tired of bringing different kinds of shoes, Brown decided to find a solution to his woes.
During a night out, Brown immersed himself in the thought of designing a shoe that was fashionably street-styled with an edgy look to it. The idea remained in his head for a while, and he contemplated avenues that could take the brand.
In the shoe business, Nike and Adidas are two of the biggest brands that most people turn to. Brown pondered on the idea of bringing his design to either one but realized that they were only looking to create the best shoes in the game. He wanted to make something that others could wear for every occasion. Daniel Brown then decided to start his brand called Achieve Greatness. The brand falls into the shoe business, where he designs a plethora of footwear with pristine Italian leather. Each shoe they create has a chunky, sculpted rubber sole and possesses various themes.
Achieve Greatness has been running for over three years. Their designs have caught the attention of social media influencer Chubbs Wilson, R&B artist Jaheim, and rising rapper YSN Flow. They have been more than satisfied with the product’s design and comfort. Daniel Brown takes great pride in his products, using materials like pristine leather and patent leather. They also produce vegan shoes, streetwear, and semi-formal apparel. Each customer that buys from them receives information about the shoe, what it’s used for, and how much of the shoe is leather, suede, vegan, or organic canvas.
Daniel Brown hopes to bring Achieve Greatness to the mainstream spotlight and give people an option when looking for shoes that can be used for any occasion. They will be releasing new shoes monthly, ranging from sneakers to high heels and more. Brown foresees Achieve Greatness becoming a top clothing company in the next few years as he prepares the company to produce purses, backpacks, and more.
